Around this time 6 months ago @p_spirko and I were ending our first date! I will never ever forget the first time I laid eyes on her. Paige Allison, thank you for a great half year. Your love for Jesus will always be my favorite thing about you. Your heart is so big and full of so much kindness. Thanks for bringing the best out of me. You are truly a gift! I can’t wait to see where God takes us.

I know I haven’t posted anything since El Salvador which makes this post my first about the trip. This picture captures a moment I’ll never forget. The picture above is of a boy who had a lot of problems at home, his dad is in the gangs, his mom runaway from home, his grandma is sick, and he doesn’t feel like anyone understands his problems. With tears in his eyes he placed his problems in God’s hands. Not only did he place problems in God’s hands but he placed his life in God’s hands. On July 17, 2018 angels rejoiced and heaven threw a party because his soul was added to the Kingdom of God. This is my El Salvador moment, not the volcanoes, great views, or even speaking to an entire high school. This was my moment. We prayed for lots of problems, 780 to be exact and we seen 154 salvations as well but this kid and this moment is one I will never forget.

You are incredible, kind, faithful, beautiful, selfless, intelligent, generous, and compassionate. You’re a lover of Jesus and family. Which are two things you put above everything else. You sacrifice more than any human being I’ve ever known. You love on a level like no other. I am so glad to call you my mom. You put Brittney and I before your own priorities and your greatest joy is making us happy so returning the favor to surprise you for Mother’s Day was the greatest thing I could do. Spending the weekend with you has been so great! I love you more than words can describe. Happy Mother’s Day Mom!

I don’t even know where to start with these students. Words cannot express how incredibly proud I am that these students call me their youth pastor. So this post is about them. For starters, we had 30 students participate in Fine Arts this year! Wow, just wow! As a youth pastor, watching students use their gifts and talents for the Lord is extremely important to me. This is why I love Fine Arts. 🎭. I AM STUDENTS participated in over 45 events, ranging from sermons to puppets, human videos, worship team, and artwork of all kinds, as well as dozens of categories I didn’t even mention. Every category and every event held the same goal this year, we wanted it all to point glory to God. This year our students received 13 Award of Merits 🥇including Fun Arts 😄 This is an incredible accomplishment. I couldn’t be more stoked for my kids. We also had 4 or more additional events place top three 🥈🥉. Every single student this year received an invitation to nationals. Over 25 categories received a superior with invitation. Woot Woot!! Fine Arts 2018... simply amazing. For me, I am one proud youth pastor. My students were on fire! 🔥 We cannot wait for Fine Arts next year!!!
