If you're looking to lose a little fat, but feel overwhelmed about where to start, here is my advice to you 😁
Start by making small changes in your life little by little. Don't think of it as dieting, but more so altering your daily/weekly habits so that they become routine. For example, if you eat out 5x a week (and make poor choices at restaurants), start by eating out 3x a week instead of 5.
If you love to party and drink 🍹 and you get the munchies every Friday night, start doing it every other Friday, etc... 😄 The point is to gradually change your lifestyle until you reach a point that is sustainable. From experience, this style of progression is much easier than diving into it 100%.

Loss a bit of muscle mass, gained a bit of a tan line (and some cocktail weight), and ready to get back at it. 2 weeks since my last lift between my work trip, vacation, and a super fun stomach bug. The scale may be a little higher and the strength may be a little less but I'm not beating myself up cuz I had a great time in Hawaii and life is all about LIVING. My next goals are similar to my last: get stronger and leaner while not restricting myself in things I truly want (aka 🧁). But this next month I'm really trying to up my muscle mass and for real for real focus on drinking mas water and watching foods that trigger my inflammation. Keep working fam and let's get it 💪🏼
Killed a leg workout and feelin strong. It was a tough day. And it reminded me that working in healthcare we forget that 90% of what we do during the day is done with others needs and wants put first. I’m not complaining, I chose this career path for a reason. But it’s exhausting sometimes. A lot of times I get home and can’t stop “working.” It’s hard to get out of that mentality but for some reason during my workout tonight I kept thinking to myself “if nothing else today do THIS is for you.” Then put on my @soulcycle radio play list and crushed my workout.
