Roses de Jeanne, Côte de Béchalin
The best £100 to be spent on champagne (was the ‘best £80’ not that long ago...) at the moment. A clear favourite and go-to for délicatesse, sophistication and interest. It is kore accessible than La Bolorée which takes a lot of time to get into its rhythm. Very good. Drank alongside the fac-simile from Prévôt, à draw.
🍷 Cheers to Ashely of Ricca Terra for taking the time to catch up with our Roaming Reporter Ruth in Adelaide earlier this month. ...
Ruth learnt more about Ashley’s background, how he got into winemaking 🍇 and how he and his wife Holly set up Ricca Terra.
