The wild winds called to her soul & through the ground she felt the thundering hooves of freedom. ⠀⠀
I’ve seen wild ponies twice in the last 2 years. That’s more times than many will see in their lifetime. The wild ponies and the Axness family have a lot in common! Maybe that’s why we’ve seen them so often in their natural habitat because it’s OUR natural habitat too. ⠀⠀
People try to act civilized, like they aren’t wild creatures that require sun, soil, and freedom but you actually REQUIRE the wild.⠀⠀
Did you know that humans share cell structure with most all living things. Stop tryna act like you’re not a wild animal bursting at the seams to be set free. 😘⠀⠀
Silence is it bliss or bullying?? Peace or Torture?? Oh that funny old thing called silence ... that place we come to at then end of a busy day and find bliss ...a place of comfort or ...a place that terrifies you?
A place you identify as loneliness... a place your wounded inner child is still afraid and un nurtured?
Do you take a pill to fall asleep to not face the silence or do you silence as medicine and sink back into a warm bath with lavender oil and find comfort in ritual and prayers.
Eating in silence vs a dinner table full of laughter and stories... how do you connect with your food? With others ?? In meditation or in Community?
Everyone’ s relationship with silence is very different.
How we come to it utilise it and what it means for each of us... Vipassana , alone time, a frequency to allow the central nervous system to reset etc... Imagine this ... a loud Sagittarius ♐️ (have you ever met one? .. me noooo ) incessantly babbling in your ear for days... how could you hold space for soooo much ???? Especially when she is channelling and tapped into prana and is off the chart 🎉
You would lose it and tell her to WOOOWWWW STOP ✋ .
You would probably say lady.....I Can’t take this anymore or you would... after trying really hard to keep up probably get up and walk away.
SILENCE can so often feel the same way... exhausting and over whelming
There are sooo many unsaid words in people’s silence and I am not talking about the silence that we use as medicine I am talking about specifically the silence that comes as a lethal punch from the lower self.
The silence that in a child would translate as “sulking”. The silence that has an underlying deeper meaning coming from an old wound.
I have been observing my 5 yr old so much this year and when need something first he whines, so I prompt him... Ikal what is wrong my love? I am thirsty... ok my love ... it goes one step further... what do you need Ikal .... Can I have a glass of water 💦 ?
Sure my love get it yourself 🤣🤣🤣... (Not always 😂😉) I am observing in so many dynamics and interactions that so often our “inner kids” are still running the show.

I’m over halfway through my series of posts on ADHD. Do I believe that ADHD is real? Yes. But do believe it is over and misdiagnosed and there’s not as much TRUE ADHD as what we’re led to believe? Also yes.
So far I’ve talked about diet, sleep/oils, and chiropractic care. Now let’s talk about environment which is going to encompass three areas. All of these factors have been areas that I’ve been paying close attention to with Timothy and they ALL make a difference.
I have a friend with a son with ADHD and she was telling me that here in the states, medication is the first thing people reach for whereas in France, they look at environment, namely their home lives (diet, counseling, etc). So let’s go through environmental factors: 👉🏻 Outside time - kids (and especially boys) are made to be active. They’re made to explore, be curious, and have lots of energy. There’s so much to be said for being able to go outside, get fresh air, and just PLAY. I won’t write a book on this post but there is a plethora of information out there for the benefits of it. Also, this ties in with some of my reasons for homeschooling. 👉🏻 Screen time. I won’t elaborate here, either. It’s easy to research. Lots of screen time is not a good thing. Doesn’t we’re screen free but I’m more mindful of it. 👉🏻 Love languages. This I WILL elaborate on. Please hear my heart and don’t attack me. Research the love languages, there’s five, and each child has a primary way that they like being shown love. When they’re not getting that time poured into them, they naturally act out. This was so convicting to me because so often we want to be harsh on our kids when in reality, we need to hold ourselves accountable and do better as parents and stop lazy parenting.
These are all things I’ve spent a lot of time reading about and implementing with parenting and while I’m far from perfect and still have tough days, there is a noticeable difference with Timothy’s moods, emotional outbursts, and ability to focus. He was outside almost all day today and those are the days where he’s able to truly THRIVE.

Great days should be documented by semi-great propped up on windows in abandoned buildings selfies.
Today marks 5 years ago that my sweet bailey fell down 105ft mine shaft!!! This post goes out to my one and only baybay! I thank God for her everyday! I Literally could not ask for a better dog/ best friend in this life!! I definitely wouldn’t be the woman I am today without this beauty in my life! A BIG thank you to @theetravisphillips for saving my bailey!! Now time to make her a cake for being a survivor!! #105ftdown#loveher#wildandfree#bailey#bestdogever
💜💛 Last week these young men (about 40 total) received their Boys To Men Leadership ties for excellence in behavior, leadership & academics. 👏🏼 Such a WONDERFUL program!! I’m really proud of each of these boys. And I’m especially proud of Oliver for memorizing and reciting the Creed and earning his Purple and Gold tie! 💛💜

More from our rainy walk in the woods. I love these little stories and their details. #everydaymagic

"For me, trees have always been the most penetrating preachers. I revere them when they live in tribes and families, in forests and groves. And even more I revere them when they stand alone. They are like lonely persons. Not like hermits who have stolen away out of some weakness, but like great, solitary men, like Beethoven and Nietzsche. In their highest boughs the world rustles, their roots rest in infinity; but they do not lose themselves there, they struggle with all the force of their lives for one thing only: to fulfil themselves according to their own laws, to build up their own form, to represent themselves. Nothing is holier, nothing is more exemplary than a beautiful, strong tree. When a tree is cut down and reveals its naked death-wound to the sun, one can read its whole history in the luminous, inscribed disk of its trunk: in the rings of its years, its scars, all the struggle, all the suffering, all the sickness, all the happiness and prosperity stand truly written, the narrow years and the luxurious years, the attacks withstood, the storms endured. And every young farmboy knows that the hardest and noblest wood has the narrowest rings, that high on the mountains and in continuing danger the most indestructible, the strongest, the ideal trees grow." While exploring Sarasota with my little guy I could not help myself marveling in the light and the trees and the Spanish moss around us. Being present lately rather than through or behind the lense. Just enjoying the small miracles that the days bring. #floridafalls#florida#spanishmoss#nomads#worldschooling#homeschooling#roamschooling#adventure#wanderlust#travel#outdoors#travelwithkids#wildandfree#childhoodunplugged#ontheroad#familyadventures#rvlife#rvliving#fulltimefamily#lifeontheroad#trees#light#glorioussun
