90% of the time, while I'm hiking, I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat afterward. 🤣😋 The #pizza and beer at @thepizzapresspearlcity really hit the spot! 🍕🍻 You can customize your pizza with unlimited cheeses and toppings! #craftbeer is always on tap, and it's honestly one of the roomiest dining spaces I've seen on the island. Had a crapshow of a week, so I was hoping DE Upper went better. Floor presses at 60% bar weight and 20% chain weight for 5x5 working sets with a top weight of 305. Didn’t move too bad, especially with the issue I’m having with keeping my shoulders locked in during the movement. Hit close grip bench at 230 for an amrap of 14 afterwards to further hammer the triceps. I felt like I had 20, but my triceps were fried from the floor presses. The goal for the next 2 weeks is to continue hammering the lock out portion, get better at letting the weight settle at the top, and just getting into better position. After weeks of putting this run off, I can finally say that I'm ready for Revel Big Bear! 20 miles and last long run in the bag. Big thanks to @run_mei_mei for joining me on the last 5 miles when the struggle became real.
