Journey of the transformation of the hall ...... from being upset that water had flooded under the front door and ruined the carpet to being overjoyed at discovering the pristine original Minton tiled floor 🖤💛❤️ As it’s a journey, there are still things to do like recovering the chair in a fabric similar in colour to the throw that’s doing a fabulous temporary job! Need a spare couple of hours to trawl through the enormous range of yummy fabric books @theinteriorsshop#westminsterparkchester - I’m thinking velvet 🤔💛
I’ve already transformed the hall table from @anniesloanhome#chateaugrey to a darker colour. Thought I would need to repaint but as I’m impatient and like instant results, I experimented with rubbing black wax all over. I absolutely love the result as it’s transformed the table into a dark, rich colour but the original ‘gold’ gilding is still coming through. Did the same effect on the lamp base, shade and photo frames!!! Still need to do the same effect to the chair and large floor candle stick holders (which are not yet back in situ). The whole makeover has been achieved on a budget of less than £500 and I couldn’t be happier 🖤
Do you suffer from dry cracked sore heels?
Cracked heel rescue packs available in clinic while stocks last!
1 tube Flexitol 30% urea heel Balm
1 foot file
1 pumice stone
Just add socks and follow the advice.
Here’s my advice on how to deal with your cracks heels!
1. Use your foot file or pumice stone to reduce the amount of callus and dry skin on your heels.
2. Following bathing or showering apply a generous amount of the urea cream and spread evenly over the heel area.
3. Dip the heel area of one sock in warm water and squeeze the excess water out.
4. Apply the now damp sock followed by the dry sock and leave overnight
5. Remove in the morning to reveal deeply hydrated feet.
6. Repeat this. Process until the desired effect is achieved and then moisturise with a 10% urea cream daily.
