As a continuation of highlighting our members during CoPASH one year anniversary celebrations we bring to you: Net Organisation for Youth Empowerment and Development. “We have a strong focus on the health and wellbeing of women, youth and children in society as we believe without good health you cannot reach your full potential in life.” Funded in 2005 by a group of students, NOYED focuses on improving the access to education, health services and governance for women and children through community led programs and campaigns which will allow them to build the necessary skills and capacity
Their 6 areas of focus: Youth empowerment, Improvement of the socioeconomic status of women, To promote the access to education for children (focus in the Northern Region), To promote equality, leadership and governance opportunities for women, Improvement of women’s health and children, and to educate and sensitise the public on sexual health issues such as HIV/AIDS .
Their current projects are: Creating Enabling Environment for Girls Education in Ghana (CEEGE), Fistula Free Northern Ghana Campaign (FFN-GC), among others.
