Why is this me?? Its fine though...I've had an upset in my personal life the past 2 days along with #SharkWeek so I ate #NonKeto foods...was it a good decision? Yes, my mental health is soooo much more important than my physical appearance. Am I gonna let myself go again? Absolutely not. I like the way my body is shaping up PLUS I dont feel like I'm doing this alone anymore cuz my homie from way back @danny_theshirtmane_norman is also going ham on his #WeightlossJourney and he's wayyyy better at than I am so he's all inspirational to me as well as kind of like my psuedo online unknowingly personal trainer accountability coach thing. I used a lot of buzz words there but whatever..he's doing...and I can too! So, I'm gonna itch myself to sleep or maybe just gon and start my day since I'm pose ta be up in like 2 hours anyway and keep it fucking moving. I was taught nothing as far as nutrition and health and this is all brand new to me but I'm glad I'm finally learning now. I still have a chance at growing old AND healthy and I'm gonna cherish it and appreciate it. I got by on my God given looks for my whole life and now I cant do that anymore, I actually have to put in the work this time and I'm gladly doing it...this is long,  bye.

I started many moons ago on 2 plates I think it was 5kg? I now can kick back max 40 to 45kg pending how I'm feeling and obviously at the end of my sets for 3 to 5 reps max 🙌

Aim to get stronger each week and stop lifting like a 6 year old girl (although I know some 6 year old girls who actually can lift more than most women I see in the gym 🤦‍♀️) .

Weight is starting to move which I'm glad to see. Just a few miscues but other than that I'm glad to see progress. Tryna get these tree trunks and a mooses caboose ;)
Discretion: I do not have anything against people that choose to do steroids.  I think there are some amazing physiques that use enhancing drugs that inspire me.
.
That being said as a personal trainer my philosophy is to be healthy inside and out.  So I think this is a good post for my followers and clients to be aware and informed before they decide to go down the path of steroids.
.
I hate to say it but as much as I know of many amazing enhanced physiques I also know of people that take steroids that I look  better than and I never once have done them.
.
Just some food for thought. Again I have close friends that choose this path and I dont judge it's their life and their goals but it doesnt line up with my philosophy of a healthy lifestyle at this point in my life.

FULL BODY WORKOUT (int/adv)
1. This is so much harder than it looks. It requires a solid grasp of control to maintain balance as both feet are in constant motion, compared to your standard mountain climbers where all 3 points of contact with the floor at stationary. Your arms need to be strong and stable to sustain this position. Speed also fluctuates depending on the tempo of your feet because the treadmill will respond to your steps. When you begin to fasten your pace, your control of maintaining stability will falter so TAKE CAUTION! It’s risky but it’s killer for core and cardio!
2. Switching up between a squat jump and a goblet squat is a great one for placing your muscles under varying tensions as opposed to simply doing one repetitive motion. It engages your muscles in contrasting activities (dynamic/power and endurance) which increases the difficulty of the exercise, demanding more focus on co-ordination, and forces the body to perform a HIIT-esque workout, which as you probably know, heightens calorie burn because of the degrees of tension your body undergoes.
3. One of my favourite core exercises, usually done with feet elevated but I had no step here! The goal is to maintain stability and keep the hips from sinking by fully engaging your core so that the only body part that should be moving is your top leg. This targets your abs, shoulders (for holding you up), glutes and abductors/adductors (bum and outer/inner thigh muscles). For those with weak wrists or shoulders, bend the bottom leg so there is more support distributed around the body rather than channelling all the weight through the few points of contact on the floor.
All of the above can be modified to either increase or decrease intensity without having to alter the tenacity of the exercise. Hope this inspires your next workout! •

I wasnt planning to come to the gym, because yesterday I walked nonstop at work 😣 my watch said I did 22,800 steps. To me that is alot...I was so tired..that I just went to sleep early. Legs are sore. So,my motivation was to workout on my back & biceps.💪
