I was walking through Osaka, Japan a few years ago when I spotted this gem. It reminded me of the resting bitch face that a lot of us women get labeled with if we aren't smiling. If my expression resembles this grate, it's because I'm probably following some long train of thought and that is far more entertaining than whoever is front of me. Aka you aren't as funny as you think you are. #rbf#evolvingconversations⠀

Odd picture to post- of a bird, but made me think of
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
God sees us as more valuable than the birds that He feeds daily.
Yet how often do we fail to see His provision or His work even in creation?
The reason I love photography is because I'm able to see a picture like this and relate that to what God's word is saying.
It's just not a picture of a bird- but for me a reminder that God is the ultimate provider- for the needs of those who believe in Him.
And so this Easter, the challenge is to seek out the meaning of it. What are we celebrating? When did it become all about chocolate and eggs?
I am challenged myself to remember the cross- the weight of that cross on the shoulders of Christ, as He beared the weight of my sin, in order that I might have salvation and redemption with God.
I am challenged to remember God's faithfulness and power, that even though He didn't have to, send His Son to ultimately demonstrate His divine love for us, that we might be able to experience that love and be forgiven of our sins.
Easter is the gospel. And the gospel is this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us- and rose again from the grave to demonstrate that He is the only One deserving of all authority.
And if you're still reading this.. nice lol you just read what's going on in my head and my heart- God bless you.
Enjoy the pic of that bird lol

Experiences open up new perspectives on the world, and bring new opportunities to learn and grow.
If there’s one thing I’ve become obsessed with, it’s EXPERIENCES.
At the end of our life, it’s not going to be about how much money we make, or the stuff that we’ve accumulated over time...
It’s going to be about the impact we made on others and the life that we lived.
Right now, we’re all writing the script for the movie about our lives... and that’s pretty exciting. Or is it?
We decide how it’s gonna be, what we’re gonna do, and why we’re gonna do it. We DECIDE.
I want to see new things, meet new people, and continue to learn more about myself and life here on earth.
Grateful to have spent the last week here in China with great people, good food, and lots of great growth experiences..... but now it’s time to move on.
BALI, I’m coming back for you😍🙏🏻
