Last spring I held a robin in my hands, praying it would make it. It had flown into a window and the temperature was very cold. I marveled at how soft the feathers were and the beautiful detail. That robin slowly came around after I wrapped it up and put it close to my breast for warmth. When I took it back outdoors, it didn't want to leave my hand, even when I gently tried to move him to the ground. I remembered my parrot friend and how his birds love to ride his arms as he flapped them up and down, so feeling foolish, I decided to try it. And it worked! The robin flew off. It was a spiritual moment for me.
When I got back from Vegas, I found this dead robin on my patio one morning. Part of me wondered if it was my robin friend. Part of me knew the universe was sending me a sign that one cycle has ended and another is beginning. If you open your eyes to the wonders around you, you will find messages everywhere. #thewheelturns#robin#newlife#newbeginnings#anotherdooropens#thesacredpath#thespiral#deathisnottheend
