I can’t show you what peace looks like, but I can show you how it feels to me. It can be hard to do things to find peace with so many distractions around. My unasked first advice is to put the phone down, turn the tv off, and simply sit quietly and comfortably in your house. Be with yourself, if you have frequent negative thoughts and feelings. It will suck to feel the yes! However you can also choose to not let those things overwhelm you, you are not those feelings or thoughts though you may have them. You are your actions and intentions, made of thoughts and feelings that GUIDE you. What you do with that GUIDANCE is up to your free will. I love you. 💕
I’ve been putting so much pressure on myself to give you guys a lesson or information whenever I post, but sometimes that isn’t where I’m currently at.
So instead of being quiet in my process, I still want to share pieces of my life with you. I am going through a period of grief after separating from a family member, in the middle of a move, transitioning through different jobs and continuing to work through some of my health issues.
Healing is messy. It’s true. Some days you feel like you’ve accomplished everything and you’re on top of the world, and other days you can’t move from the couch and are emotional AF. I’ve had to be really picky these last few months about who I hangout with and what I spend my energy on. I have finally finished (most) of the moving process, and this is exactly how I wanted to spend my Sunday.
Out in nature after a farmers market haul. When life is feeling messy and complicated, this extra time to slow down means everything. I hope everyone else is having a relaxing Sunday ♥️

You'll learn how avoiding your needs can manifest as symptoms such as:⠀
⚠️ Constantly living in survival mode⠀
⚠️ Burnout and anxiety⠀
⚠️ Losing yourself in relationships⠀
⚠️ Binge behavior⠀

⚠️ Overgiving to the point of exhaustion⠀
⚠️ Feeling disconnected to yourself and others ⠀

for me, I got 9 of cups, success and simplicity--which tells me to rely on my emotion intelligence and many sources of and tools for emotional support around me, in order to devellop a positive relationship to my fears; that my greatest fear is actually success (the little girl inside me who used to literally hide under her mother's skirt every time people complimented or praised me can attest to this!); and that my greatest weapon is to keep things light and simple, rather than overcomplicate my creative processes, in order to feel safe, free and on top of my challenges.
