Before I had my second daughter, I used to make sourdough bread at least once a week. If you’ve ever made sourdough bread from scratch; made a starter, kneaded and proofed for hours, you learn a few things.
You learn patience for the sake of better quality bread. And you learn to break the dough in order to help it grow.
I feel that this last part applies greatly to ourselves as humans. Sometimes we need to break a little and be stretched in order to grow.

Finally I got a chance to see how my sourdough spring in the oven 😍 usually can’t see since I have been baking with Dutch oven. Sorry for the poor quality, need to clean my oven glass door soon😂
Our Organic Sourdough Bagelinti Salmon w Cream Cheese is back today with our Choc chip n Orange Bagel, we have 2 types of scones, the classic Mix Cranberry Raisin Scones and a new subtle but lovely Apricot Walnut scones for you guys to enjoy those afteenoon teh tarik.
We will be at Menara Maybank today till Friday, it should be 10am to 4pm, but we are running late today, Dinie have left for Maybank, so hopefully the booth is up by 11am. We have Nur (a familiar face for you guys who frequents to Opika) helping us out manning the fort as Dinie will need to prep for tomorrow bakes.
