Facts speak louder than lies! Cheaters are caught out by their statements and those that back them blindly have their trust and integrity compromised. Be yourself and let them keep talking. The lie gets bigger, the hole gets bigger and the people you really respect will see them for who and what they really are. Disloyal, immoral materialistic cheaters. You learn this the hard way, but true and valued friends and family will always surface to lift you back up where you belong. I can vouch for that and thank all my long lost family and friends for raising me up for the last year. The enemy doesn’t care how much you believe the Word of God if he can get you to put your receiving off until THE FUTURE! 📆

The phrase, “It‘s all in God’s timing” is often quoted as the reason for why people still haven’t received, and sadly it’s become a religious cliché and prevents many people from seeing the manifestation of what they’re believing for. 😕

But we need to remind ourselves that if it’s part of the salvation package, it’s ours right now. God’s timing has nothing to do with it. 🎁

Let’s see what the Word says:
2 Peter 1:3, “His divine power HAS GIVEN us everything we need for life and godliness...” “Has given” = past tense. We’ve already been given everything we need for both life and godliness! 
Healing is ours right now. Deliverance is ours right now. Prosperity and peace and joy is ours right now. If we need it for abundant life or to be more godly, it’s already ours! 🎁

2 Corinthians 6:2, “NOW is the time of God’s favour, TODAY is the day of salvation.” “Now” means now! “Today” means today! We have God’s unmerited favour (grace) and salvation (sozo/soteria/shalom = nothing missing nothing broken) right now, today! 🙏🏼 It’s not coming, it’s not on its way, we’ve already got it. God’s timing has got nothing to do with it because it’s a done deal, a finished work. ✝️ So if a thought comes, “My healing is on its way!” answer it with, “Healing is mine RIGHT NOW, TODAY!” 👇🏼 Or if a thought comes, “Maybe I’ll receive the answer after I’ve done A,B,C, and D...”, answer it with, “I have the answer right NOW, TODAY!” 👇🏼 Not tomorrow, not next week, not one day...NOW. TODAY. 👇🏼 Let’s put our confessions in the right tense and  agree with God. Say, “I AM, we ARE, they ARE, it IS, he IS, she IS...” 🗣

God’s not withholding anything from us, we simply need to receive what He’s given us by agreeing with the promise. That’s how we take it. Whatever you need is yours right now, TODAY! 🤲🏻🙌🏼🙏🏼 #faithtalks ————————

What is depression ?

Whilst we all feel sad, low or moody from time to time, people with depression experience these feelings more intensely & perhaps feel this way for long periods of time up to weeks, months or even years. Depression effects 1 in 20 Australians, People with depression may also feel this way for no apparent reason. Depression is a serious condition that effects the physical and mental health. Some people describe it as being in a really dark place that's difficult to come back from. Others describe it as a numb feeling. ​
Some of the signs & symptoms;  Behaviour
·  not going out anymore
·  not getting things done at work/school
·  withdrawing from close family and friends
·  relying on alcohol and sedatives
·  not doing usual enjoyable activities

We recently asked Samantha Callender from local youth suicide prevention charity, @oneeighty_inc what mantra she lives by ... and this was it. ⁠

It's so true, but I bet we're not the only ones who struggle to balance me time, plus physical exercise with our business and family responsibilities?? ⁠
⁠
So, I asked Samantha for some simple tips to maintain good mental health: ⁠
⁠
1. Take the time to recharge. Make a conscious effort to take time away from your screens (mobile, computer TV!). Ideally, implement a daily meditation practice, even if it's just a few minutes. ⁠
⁠
2. Look after yourself - eat healthily, get enough sleep and exercise regularly. ⁠
⁠
3. Check in with your self talk. Ask yourself if you are being kind & helpful to yourself. Ask yourself if the negative self talk is really necessary. If it's not something you would say to a friend, don't say it to yourself either. ⁠

Perfectionists can run into all kinds of relational challenges:  expecting themselves to be perfect, assuming others expect them to be perfect, or expecting others to be perfect.

These unrealistic expectations can come with an overwhelming obsession with achievement, tumultuous and negative social relationships, loneliness and disconnection. These are fertile soil for anxiety, social anxiety and depression. 🤭

Help-seeking can be difficult for perfectionists because it goes against the expectations they set for themselves. But when you’re experiencing isolation and disconnection, it’s helpful to seek help if you need it. 💡

Now, I try to help my clients see that even if something isn’t going great in their lives, there are many things that they can be happy and positive about; its impossible to excel in all areas of life, all at once, so take the wins when you get them and fill your life with those people who will celebrate the little things with you. 
If some one makes out that every aspect of their life is great and prefect they are probably LYING!

Remember, a lot of the time the people you meet are stressing about something that you might think is nothing, but to them it is a big deal and it’s stuck in their mind, making them feel anxious and worried. Don’t judge them on what is important to them. 
What I’m trying to say is that these things are extremely common, 1 in 4 people suffer from a mental health issue (and that’s just those who are diagnosed), and the best thing to do is talk about it. Hearing things out loud a lot of the time will make your realise you can cope with the stress or issue. Having people in your life to support you is essential. If you can’t talk about it, write it down to get it out of your head. And guys, exercise really does help.

The official #ruok day is in a few weeks, but that doesn't stop you from looking out, asking the question and listening.
It’s ok not to be ok, something I’m still learning. Today is one of those days, actually this week has been one of those weeks. Things are getting the better of me, I’m tired and I have just felt overwhelmed with emotions and trying to balance keeping people happy while feeling guilty for wanting to help myself. ⁣
⁣
Anyway, today I could have kept bottling my emotions up and had a panic attack but instead I realised I needed to cry so I did. Crying is actually one of the most healthy ways to reduce stress and not a sign of weakness. Do your research you’d be surprised at the benefits, in Japan they even have crying clubs!! ⁣
⁣
It’s ok to admit that life can suck and be cruel even if you know you are lucky in so many other ways. We only know what is relevant in our own lives and sometimes life’s challenges get the better of us and that is ok. ⁣
⁣
As I said I’m still learning, most of the time I put on a strong, brave face and get through the day even when I don’t feel great. BUT, I think it’s important to have a balance, to realise that I can let it out and to accept my emotions. I’m sure I’m not the only one who needs to cry it out sometimes... who’s with me? ⁣
