One of cortisol’s many roles is to increase blood sugar in the body. This is very important if you want to stay alive and for what most people want, stay lean.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you eat shit food, train too much, drink too much coffee, work too much and take adrenalin boosting supplements you will overburden your cortisol stressed out.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Survival is in our DNA, it comes first before everything else. When you become stressed out because of things like working too much, accumulation of negative thoughts or exams then your body thinks it is under attack! Chronically elevated cortisol will dump glucose into the bloodstream causing a disruption to your blood sugar levels. Elevated cortisol will create negative side effects if is occurring too frequently - some side effects are weight gain, headaches, lowered immune system, muscle weakness, recovery is slow, hippocampus shrinkage (memory loss), difficulty concentrating and high blood pressure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It really depends on what is stressing your body out. It might be to reduce training, stop smoking, watch less tv, play fewer video games, get off social media, stop talking to your abusing friend/partner, change your job, stop eating crap.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Reduce your stress, make it easy to lose weight and have sustained energy by managing your cortisol output. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Oggi parliamo di SKINCARE 🧖🏽♀️
Come saprete è molto importante prenderci cura della nostra pelle, soprattutto quella del viso ed è importante anche scegliere i giusti prodotti in base al tipo di pelle.
Vi scrivo qualche passaggio da seguire per la skincare quotidiana:
🔸Struccarsi e quindi detergere bene il viso
🔸Applicare il tonico che aiuta a richiudere i pori dopo aver utilizzato struccante e detergente, oltre che a rimuovere i residui di makeup
🔸Applicare un siero, il quale in genere ha una concentrazione di principio attivo maggiore rispetto ad una crema viso
🔸Infine si può applicare la crema viso, ovviamente essendo attente a scegliere il tipo di crema adatta alla nostra pelle e al periodo dell’anno (in estate scegliete creme meno grasse) ✅Per prendersi cura al meglio della pelle potete affiancare alla #skincare#routine anche maschere viso (2 o 3 volte la settimana) e scrub viso (1 volta ogni 10-15 giorni) per rimuovere lo strato superficiale di cellule morte. ➡️Vi posto nelle stories dei prodotti che ho scelto per la skincare in base al tipo di pelle secca e sensibile, fatemi sapere che ne pensate.

Do you prepare and cook your own meals, choose whole foods that will nourish your body and make a conscious effort to not over eat?!
