You know I try.
Grainy old photos always find a way to make me homesick 🌪🐪
Finally Breaking an over two week Instagram hiatus.
The range of emotions I’ve felt these past three months is indescribable. Moments of deep deep pain and then needing to swing the complete opposite and feel moments of joy while on vacation in Florida. What a well timed trip. God knows what he’s doing. He never promised a life free from pain, but I believe he’s continuing to give me what I need amongst such strong pain. His hand is in it all. We didn’t know back in May when we planned this trip what would be happening in our lives right now. There was not a better time that we needed to get away.
I’m thankful for all of the grace & patience I’ve received these past 3 months. It’s hard to hop on this app and see all of these photographers just crushing their off season when my desire to do anything is 0. But it feels good to finally be back at it and really diving into work again 💕

A little note about this photo, it is a favorite of mine that I took while on vacation last week at the Siesta Beach drum circle. The sun, the beach, the bright & vibrant colors, the time with friends was what this weary soul needed.

Much of the secret of life consists in knowing how to laugh, and also how to breathe
when you say it, speak it into the air, to someone, it becomes real. that’s what’s so terrifying
