I’ve been practicing “grateful-ness” lately. Not sure if that’s a word but it’s helped me put more things in perspective. Every morning when I’m waking up or drinking tea, I sit there for a second reflecting. I say to myself “what are you thankful for today?” At first it wasn’t easy because like usual, I was overthinking things. It doesn’t have to be a whole paragraph of thoughts, it can simply be one word.
I found myself being thankful for big and most of all little things. For example, one morning I was thankful for my bed, another day I was thankful for being able to breath, and so forth. I think of it as not everyone is blessed enough to have a bed like mine, homeless people sleep on the wet cold ground. Not everyone can breath like me because others have to do it through a hospital machine. It’s helped me just to say thank you especially when life isn’t feeling too sweet. 🌻🌸🌹🌻🌸🌹🌻🌸🌹
