My doctors have told me that I will potentially be taking 3 months off from next week. since my recovery has been taking a turn for the worse over last few months, things have been challenging - but that’s okay. This is has been my biggest learning point in 2018. I used to get jealous and pissed off with people who were doing better than me in my industry. I used to rip apart their ideas and think I was so much better than they could ever be. . However, how did I prove I was better than people in my industry? By doing nothing apart from bitching and complaining. And where did it get me? Absolutely fucking no where!! . This year I realised the competition isnt with others its with myself and all those negative feelings were a reflection of me. . Once I finally became aware of this, I stopped being that he bitch and put myself out there. I actually stepped out my nice little comfort zone and moved forward with my life. Its been the best feeling ever and that wasteful negative toxic energy that used to consume me is no longer an issue. If anything I find myself encouraging more people to better themselves. . The best part is that I compete with myself on a daily basis and aim to win at everything I do. Somedays I fail miserably but making myself accountable for my actions has been amazing and something I encourage everyone to at least try.
