Pasta night🍝Have y’all tried spaghetti squash? Well if you haven’t be sure to hit up the nearest grocery store to get your hands on this fruit (yep that’s right. Botanically it’s a fruit🤷🏼♀️🤓) don’t get me wrong I love me some real pasta but this is a great sub & the texture is just like noodles!
dEATS: spaghetti squash w turkey meatballs, vegetable marinara, and parm🧀🥫🍝
-slice a spaghetti squash in half lengthwise, scoop out the seeds in the middle and evenly brush olive oil inside the squash. Season with salt and pepper and turn the squash so that the oiled and seasoned side is face down on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Let it cool a bit and use a fork to scrape and create the “noodles”.
-for the turkey meatballs I made 9 & used 1/2 lb or lean ground turkey from @traderjoes, sprinkled in some parmesan, dried basil, minced garlic, salt and pepper. I rolled them into the balls and but them on an oiled skillet turning on each side and covering at times for about 8 minutes or until they were cooked through.
