Never get too busy making a living that you forget to enjoy your life

There's this epic temple in #SiamReap, called Ta Prohm, it's where "Tomb Raider" was shot at the turn of this century.
In my mind I think of it as the temple of trees.
I never knew I was a tree person until I got there last week.
Actually this temple was built for men and women university students in the 1300s.
The ruins of the library are still on the site.
At one time there were a thousand women enrolled in the university so they could have actual careers or trades.
#Cambodia was one of the wealthiest and wealthiest empires (Khmer Empire) for at least 400 years?
The world came to Siam Reap for knowledge.
It always amazed me how empires rise and fall.
It's one of the reasons I studied economics, because nothing lasts forever and when we study the history of economies we see that there is a constant turning of the wheel.
Anyway...pictures of trees and more temples 😊
Earlier this year, I spent a week away from the cold and headed out to Jamaica. This was my first time visiting a tropical country, as well as staying at a resort. Although I prefer the run-and-gun adventure style of travel, getting away from the harsh cold and truly relaxing for a change was an experience on its own. Here’s a shot of my favourite place we visited while out there: YS Falls. 🍃 I got to dive from a swinging rope into the water, and I honestly could have spent the rest of my time there diving.

We got here late last night. The road leaded to the beach house was dark and as if we were in a horror movie scene. There was sound of the sea and touch of the wind and smell of the ocean. Here’s the view of this morning when I woke up with a cup of coffee (as usual), berries from Costco (not so romantic), a good book and being in somewhere out of the city once in a while. Nature is not too bad. Perhaps perhaps perhaps sometimes.. 🌊 #xmastreebythesea
