What is even happening? Who is this big girl?
Time is a thief and those “baby” days are quickly turning into “toddler” days. Tantrums are real. I’m sorry mommy won’t let you eat a banana peel or throw your shoes in the garbage or buy you the $15 animal balloon at Harris Teeter. I know it’s tough having food in front of you that you don’t want to eat so throwing it ALL over the floor is easier 🤦🏼♀️dancing makes everything better and music of all sorts is your jam.
Her personality is one of a kind. She’s STRONG-WILLED, determined, so silly and super lovable. But my girl can turn on those tantrums like a light switch. I do love this age though. That cusp of baby on the verge of toddler, learning the world, learning how to communicate and learning right from wrong.
The days are long but the years are short and this girl drives me crazy sometimes but she is such a little joy in our lives.
You guys already know, baby wearing is a big deal in our household. We make sure there are absolutely no gender roles in the way we parent! Daniel loves carrying our diaper bags and carrying Luna ❤️ Moby was actually one of the first companies that I was introduced to about babywearing (the wrap being one of my first carriers) so I was so stoked when they reached out to us to try their new 2-in-1 Carrier + Hip Seat! This carrier is so versatile and easy to use- Daniel and I love the ease and style of it. It was voted #1 carrier for Dads!
This carrier by @mobywrap is available on @Amazon! Check out the link in my bio to grab one for you and your family! It would also be an awesome present for new parents. | #ad
Repost about one of our amazing alumni!! @trustle_ :
Meet Trustle coach, Kaitlyn 🖐
Hi everyone! My name is Kaitlyn and I'm a Trustle coach. Growing up, I loved babysitting and basically anything that involved "hanging out" with babies and young children. Thus, it didn't take me long to figure out that I wanted to devote my career to supporting young children and their families.
I studied Early Childhood Education and Communication Disorders in college ( @wooinsider), then went on to obtain my Master's degree in Education and Human Development from GWU ( @gwgsehd), focusing on child development for children from birth through age 5.
I view child development in a holistic way, understanding that all areas of development interact with and influence one another. Some of my favorite areas of interest include social-emotional learning, fostering empathy, managing behavior and anxiety, and helping families cultivate positive mealtime routines. I am so passionate about these topics and could take on and on and on about them...so let me know if you ever want to hear more! :
I live in Washington, DC with my husband, who works in education policy ( @dcsboe). We are both passionate about finding ways to foster positive childhood experiences for today's children, knowing that they will be the next generation to lead our world.
To all of you amazing parents: You have the hardest job in the world. Keep doing what you're doing and know that YOU are the best parent for your child, and I feel nothing but respect, admiration, and love for you.
