We’re in love with the garden lab ❤️ & have gotten a few messages about how we’ve organized it, & how the water pump works, etc. So we decided to create a post about our newest #outdoorclassroom edition.
While it’s still our second week with the garden lab (aka #mudlab) & we’re still changing things around & waiting to install a few deliveries of parts, tools, etc., we are loving what we’ve had out thus far. Also, we are really learning from observing our children in play, as to what tools they need for exploration.
Here’s what we have thus far:

Big thank you to our #parents for contributing ‘kitchen’ essentials!
Our water is pumped through a manual faucet pump & water is provided to the pump from a bucket underneath that we fill from our garden hose. We don’t like the fact that leaves and dust blow into the bucket every so often and may become stuck in the manual hose, so we’re looking for solutions online.
A separate bucket collects all the dirty water, which we empty this water into the grass and flower patch.
🦟 ❌Don’t leave any water sitting in buckets at the end of the day... even a little, as it will attract mosquitos.
We plan to install two more peg board organizers ( #ikea) this month & another #sink/manual pump faucet... which needs a little supervision and direction as children like to pump it a bit too fast/aggressively, which may damage the handle. So a fe w weeks of really showing them how to use this area is best and reminding them that slow and gentle is how this sink likes to be pumped for a nice flow of water. 👍
Thank you to Mr.Harry for the amazing new edition. Appreciate you so much! 😊

Spending this Good Friday at IVIG for William. Dad was off work and brother was out of school so we all went together with William. This photo was taken on the ride home. We drive one hour away for infusion treatment three times per month. His infusions last almost 7 hours each time. At times, it can be both emotionally and physically exhausting; not only for William, but for the entire family. His infusions treat low IgG levels as well as encephalitis cause by PANS. #IVIG#encephalitis#PANS#autoimmunedisease#autism#neurology#thisisus#family#love#momlife#autismmom#hope
