Coffee...lots of coffee ☕️ ☕️☕️ is what I'll need for tomorrow's jury duty. Hey, somebody's gotta do it, right? 🤷🏽♀️ // When you find a leopard midi skirt for less than $30, you jump on it. Can't wait to style it for Fall. 🥰 For details on this look, click link in my bio. #animalprint#shopmycloset#style#fashion#trend
Ugh... today was such an ugly day.
Can it just be summer already? I'm ready for piña coladas and my Jimmy Buffett shirts 🦜

I've been on a serious Project Runway binge this week! I like seeing the creation process for the garments and individual point of view, but something that bugs me is how a couple designers get so discouraged when they have to dress a plus sized model or "real women". I don't care if you are a 6 foot, 110 pound model or 5 foot, 200 pound grandmother, all women are real women who deserve to feel good in their clothes. I do believe designing is an art form, and ultimately a designer has the right to choose who they want to dress, but in my photography career, it's always been important to me to choose models of all body shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and even to include those with tattoos and piercings because I want to celebrate what makes all women beautiful individually. I just wish I saw more in fashion design wanting to do the same as a very small percentage of women fall into the "runway model" category. It makes me love @houseofdaughtry designer, Heather, all the more as she designed her dresses to be flattering on women of all ages and sizes.
