I recently read an article in @outsidemagazine about the effects that feeling awe in nature has on one's mental, physical, and emotional health. And you don't even need the supreme beauty of #croatia to reap the benefits! Just a walk in the woods or a laze in the grass watching the clouds will do the trick in helping to lower stress levels (and blood pressure!) Plus it feels a lot less like exercise than the gym. My legs felt like stone pillars after yesterdays hike. And today was filled with uphill inclines 🤢🤣 ☠️ Draggin’ the “shanks” (as my friend calls them 🤣) was worth it for epic views, good convo + sunshine. Lots of people out there today! Beautiful 🌿 Trail: Approx 7.1km (11,000 steps) around the back of Lesmurdie and over the top, down the waterfall steps.
