(EN/ITA) Taking that extra 5 minutes to prepare (and eat) your breakfast or lunch being more aware of what you are doing can really make the difference. Do you agree with me? Let me know in the comments👇 .⠀ I love having a slow meal that gives me the chance to be more focused on what Im doing, truly appreciate my food, and find a little space of stillness during the day. Thats why Im grateful for each little cooking trick that allows me to create this calm space (even better if I can also use that meal to #reducewaste , get a good amount of #nutrients , and make something #delicious 🙋). Yesterday I wanted to make some baked pasta for lunch because my boyfriend loves it but I also wanted to keep it simple: I had 4-5 tbsp of lentil dahl (recipe #ontheblog ) left from the night before (= lentils, spices, sun-dried tomatoes, kale, carrots) in the fridge, so Ive turned this mix into a cream and paired it with whole wheat penne, greens peas, thyme, black pepper, and brie (just a few slices on top). 15 minutes in the oven and the lunch was ready! ⠀ .⠀ This is what a meal should be about: the joy of eating something good for you on many different levels 💛 Chiara #amatterofnourishment ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ ITA >> Avere quei 5 minuti in più per preparare (e mangiare) la colazione o il pranzo essendo più consapevole di ciò che stai facendo può davvero dare una piega diversa alla tua giornata. Fammi sapere 👇 .⠀ E anche per questo motivo che sono grata per ogni piccolo trucchetto che posso mettere in pratica in cucina per aiutarmi a creare questi piccoli momenti di calma (ancora meglio se posso includere nel piatto altre cose come ridurre gli sprechi, tanti nutrienti e gusto). Ieri per pranzo ho prepararato una pasta al forno rapida: in frigo avevo 4-5 cucchiai di dahl avanzato dalla sera prima (= lenticchie, spezie, pomodori secchi, kale, carote), frullandolo è diventato una crema che ho poi mischiato con delle penne integrali, piselli, timo, pepe, e brie (qualche fetta soltanto sopra). 15 minuti in forno ed il pranzo era pronto!⠀ .⠀ Un piatto dovrebbe essere proprio questo: la gioia di mangiare qualcosa che ti fa bene sotto tanti aspetti diversi 💛 Chiara
