Savory Summer Tart of Eggplant, Peppers and Olives (Page 191) from The Saltwater Table by Whitney Otawka. Okay I know it’s fall but I just had to make these summer tarts as soon as I saw them. The savory pie dough has cumin and crushed oregano. It was so good. The recipe calls for 8 small tarts but I made one large one galette style. I can’t wait to make more savory tarts with fall vegetables with this dough. Whitney’s new book comes out today and it is stunning. This is definitely one I’ll be giving as a Christmas gift.
