Speaking publicly at the Summit LA19 conference earlier this month, the rapper reflected on the month he spent behind bars in a Swedish prison during which he connected with some of the inmates, many of whom were fans of hip-hop. “When I was going through my whole situation, the whole time I used to look on television and see Swedish fans showing me so much love and I want to give it back,” said Rocky (via Forbes). The “Babushka Boi” is scheduled to return to Stockholm on Dec. 11 for a show at the Ericsson Globe that will include other Swedish artists. He plans to donate most of the proceeds from his performance to inmates and prison reform. Additionally, Rocky has designed new wardrobe and uniforms for the Swedish detention center he was in. “I’m trying to do what I can with what I can, I just want to keep creating and encouraging whoever is after me to do it better,” he said.
On July 2, Rocky was taken into custody over his involvement in a Stockholm street brawl. He was released a month later following a high-profile trial that captured worldwide attention. A Swedish court found Rocky guilty of assault. He was handed a suspended sentence and ordered to pay damages to the victim despite video showing the 19-year-old man antagonizing his crew.

Psalm 1 says • “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.” •
Now, as Jesus sat with his disciples on the Passover before the cross, he says • “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34) •
We, believers, are on new ground •
In the Gospels of the New testament, Jesus brought the fullness of the law to light, Something we are no match for even on our best day. •
Bonus note: if u notice... what was one of the charges the Pharisees had toward Jesus??... He eats with sinners and tax collectors. •
The law provided the stature, to show man the end of ourselves, given by Moses, the servant of God •
The Son, brought grace and truth (John 1:17), Meditate and delight! Thank you.
