RHUBARB CRUMBLE AND CUSTARD PORRIDGE- Golden Spurtle recipe 1.
Rhubarb crumble is one of my most favourite desserts EVER! Fruity, sharp rhubarb with creamy custard and a crunchy oat crumble.
I know rhubarb isn’t the most popular fruit, so feel free to replace the canned rhubarb with another fruit you like. Tinned apples, pears (I’ve used that here because I had no rhubarb!) peaches or cherries work well too.
This makes 1-3 servings depending on how hungry you are/how much food you need.
You will need:
400g canned rhubarb (or other fruit!)
1tsp ground ginger
1tsp vanilla bean paste
1tsp flax seeds
1tbsp brown sugar
1tbsp ground almonds
60g @yockenthwaitefarm granola ( @yockenthwaitefarm is PERFECT for this recipe. It’s chunky, crunchy, sweet and oaty. The texture is brilliant and the taste is addictive. I would highly recommend!
1. Cook the oats, salt and water on a hob until it has thickened to just thicker than your usual liking.
2. Add the flax, brown sugar, almonds, fruit, vanilla and custard. Mix well and continue to cook for a few minutes.
3. Just before you are about to serve it, mix in the @yockenthwaitefarm granola.
4. Top with more fruit, lashings of custard and a generous handful of granola.
5. ENJOY!! Hope you like this recipe oatlings! Share with #mypassion4porridge
in case u missed it: PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL 🥜➡️ 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tbsp flaxseed, 1 tbsp that fudgy end-of-the-jar peanut butter u never know what to do with (normal thick + crunchy PB works really well too fyi), 1/2 tsp cinnamon + 3/4 cup oat milk ~ add all the ingredients to a non-stick pan and warm over a medium heat, stirring regularly, until smooth and creamy 😍 topped with banana, frozen raspberries, granola and some warmed oat milk 💪 you could also stir in a scoop of vegan protein powder or powdered peanut butter for an extra protein + creaminess hit 🥰 happy weekend team!!!

🍯 100-150g tvarohu
🍯 100ml vody
🍯 50g mraženého lesního ovoce
🍯 tak 3kg skořice, protože je to láska
🍯 chia, konopná, lněná, oříšky, ořechové máslo, cokoliv chcete, přidejte si tam 🍯 sladidlo pokud chcete
🍯 všechno smíchejte, dejte přes noc do lednice a pokud máte ráno chuť do života, můžete si jí dozdobit, popř. ohřát 😇

Treat yourself and family to this easy peasy oatmeal protein pancakes ❤🥰. Ingredients: • 1 medium ripe banana • 2 large eggs • ⅓ cup oats • ¼ tsp cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS * Put the banana in a bowl and mash with a fork. * Add the eggs and mix until well combined. * Put the oats in a blender and blend until fine. * Add the blended oats and cinnamon to the banana mix, and stir well. * Heat a skillet over a medium heat with a dash of vegetable/coconut oil. * Pour ¼ cup of the mixture into the skillet, cook on one side for about 1.5 minutes, then turn and cook on the other side for about 1 minute (or until golden brown on both sides). * Serve (with or without maple syrup) and enjoy.

One of the best ways to start the day is with overnight oats. It gives me energy to be active throughout the morning and keeps me full until lunch time (however I manage to snack on a bounce of medjoul dates until that 😝) Some times I like to make it real comfy by adding peanut butter and bananas, other times I stick to fresh berries and mix it with a bit of berry smoothie 🙌🏻 How do you prefer your overnight oats ?
