Rumor has it that it’s #worldphotographyday so here is my favorite image. About a year ago, I saw an ad for a workshop in Lofoten. The timing was perfect as I was in a tumultuous time of my life where I lacked creative inspiration, I had experienced the most difficult losses and heartbreak and really needed to rebuild and connect to myself. Right before the trip, I decided to buy my first @sonyalpha because I wanted to keep on this theme of self investment. And after 10 days alone in this amazing place, I opened to door to new creatives zones, inspired to always be the best version of me, and take on new challenges. And this shot, while super over done, was that moment where I really saw myself for who I am and who I can be. Since then I’ve been riding that wave and nothing but good vibes have come my way. Anyone else have this experience?
When the sky throws you shade, it's storm that's coming.
It only took five minutes to change the entire canvas of the sunny oslo fjord. A faint click so happened to have casted a shot of this pitch-black blanket of clouds that hovered the scene in front of me then I ran off down the stairs to seek cover.
What's scary? That in a minute it rained bullets of hail? Or the ferry being rocked in slaps of angry tide? Or the view of a lifeless, apocalyptic storm? 🤔
