...Be honest: Do you have days of feeling totally disgusting? You know, those days when no matter how many different poses or angles you try you just don’t feel pretty? That was me today!
...Each time I tried to take a photo I felt horribly disgusting...”look at my rolls...look at my flabby chin...look at my cellulite...”! These were all of the phrases running through my mind, and saying these things to myself almost had me in tears! I was bullying myself!!! No one but ME was calling me ugly, fat and gross! I would be furious and devastated if some random individual said these things to me, yet here I was saying them to myself.
...Why do we do this to ourselves?! Why do we internalize every doubt and negative emotion we perceive on worst body image days?! We do this because societies perception is that we’re gross if we have the aforementioned “imperfections”! We do it because of photoshop and unrealistic expectations!
...Y’all, I think it’s important to surround yourselves with individuals who encourage us to kick those negative comments we have of ourselves. Thank you @mksinvestmentproperties for telling me how beautiful I was today even when I was feeling like Jabba the Hutt! Thank you to my boys for always saying “Mom, you are not fat!!” on some of the worst of days.

There is so much to say here. But as I type, I am at loss for words. Throughout my 6 years of training, not once have I considered mastering aesthetics. I was strong yet weak at the same time.
During this off season, I’ve decided to change things up. I have a new goal set to accomplish in Fall 2020 and in order for me to reach that goal, I need to have a new mindset!
Here’s to accomplishing small goals along the way! ♥️

I am grateful for waking up this morning. I am grateful for this vessel I was gifted from birth. I am grateful for my family(immediate and extended)! Change the dialogue by embracing the good in your life and letting go of the bad. What are you grateful for today?
I don't have any new pics, so... But isn't this one from friday a cute one? We talked too much, so Willi went exploring the mat by himself 😊
Yesterday and today I went to the riding arena again with Willi and obviously his motivation problem there isn't a problem anymore.
I tried to focus very much on myself, reminded myself to stop looking at him while we are walking, tried to change my position, and didn't give in much energy or motivation to leave this part up to him. And he did so great! He decided to trot, he decided to pantherwalk (well, okay, he does that always), he decided to walk in the direction of the obstacles I put there. That was an amazing feeling, because I realized I don't even need to "give him some energy" and to motivate and encourage him all the time or to jump like crazy around him 😄
of course there aren't the very big moves yet, when everything is up to him. Because these are the moves that maybe are too much for him and throw him out of balance and cause discomfort.
But he keeps on walking, he trots without me encouraging him, he challenges himself with the obstacles... And yesterday, when we trotted a long straight line forward together he was even motivated to go faster and faster and tried to canter, while I was just jogging beside him, looking forward, lean a bit back to have a better posture, and positioned myself behind his shoulder. And that much motivation out of himself, without me *pushing* with my own energy , that's far more than I expected.
So, we focus on straight lines to make things easier for him , on *flow* and on softer moves, and I focus on myself, looking forward, change my position and calming myself down, waiting for him, let him decide how much energy and motivation he has in that situation. And the last two days this went and felt so well 😍
Tomorrow, I'll go on a holiday for a few days, so Willi has some free time to process some new things 😊
