🔥🔥5 bad ass core moves from #hotforchristmas challenge , save for later ↗️🔥🔥. ( sped up x2) . . ⏱Work 45 sec with 15 sec rest. Do 5 rounds. . . 1. Elbow plank, feet slide towards elbow, switch sides. . . 2. On back , use lower abs to peel tailbone off the mat and twist to the right side and back; then another set on the left; . . 3. On back , press lower back into the mat, legs extended hovering 4-5 inches above. Now lift to 45 degrees angle open legs ( hold ) , close , then lower; repeat 😎. . . 4. In elbow plank with legs wide open jump the feet towards elbows as close as possible , feel the core squeeze. Jump back to wide legged plank , jump to regular plank; repeat 😜. . . 5. Seat on your hips, lean back slightly, spine straight, bend knees , lift feet , now extend arms one by one into opposite direction. Keep your core and lower back muscles engaged. 😅. . . We can be happy where we are, even if its not where we ultimately want to be. Its so common to disregard progress until we get to some kind of milestone like big visible progress, a certain amount of weight gone, muscle built, promotion given, income level etc. Like no accomplishment counts until its the ultimate one in our head. You get a compliment or a congrats from someone and our brain automatically goes YEH BUT..im not doing blah blah yet soo Its great to have big goals, to always be striving and improving. Just dont forget to enjoy every step of the way. Celebrate the small wins and let yourself love where you are at on the way to where you are going. A lot of life is spend working towards those big goals so let yourself enjoy it. We never get a phase of life back. Just a little flexed engaged core vs not. My abs are not anywhere near where they were pre pregnancy right now and thats ook, Im enjoying where Im at and not rushing something that really isnt a priority for me right now. The ab work and the six pack can be worked on more intensely again and will be but right now with feeding Noah and just where Im at its not a main focus😊 Alsooo, Id love to hear what you think as always and will get back to you! Butt itll be tomorrow! Im going to sleep since Noah is probably going to wake me up in 5-6 hours and Ive gotta get to sleep ASAP 🤦

I’m always looking for ways to make my life easier as I balance everything I have on my plate. I’m always seeking ways to be productive while still splitting my attention a million different ways. With being able to get an optimal workout done in such a short amount of time, that opens up my mornings to get some quiet time to myself with a book before kiddo wakes up. Even if he does get up before I’m done, luckily I can always find a way to entertain while I finish my workout. • I’m trying to optimize my growth and challenge myself every day. Switching up my workouts and pushing myself beyond is just the beginning. I can do 20 mins a day for six weeks with no excuses. I bet you can too ❤️ • What fitness goals do you want to commit to?

Officially smaller than I was at the end of my senior year of high school!! I’m rewarding myself (Christmas gifts too) with new @gymshark clothes as soon as they release their camo sets!! This is what a typical lunch after the gym looks like for me, spinach or some kind of salad, tuna (I’m obsessed with the buffalo one right now), I love hummus in small doses and always have something to dip with it (if you’re a savage and want to eat it with a spoon, you do you, I don’t judge haha) and I’ll usually have a @imbuilt built bar afterwards. My “snack”/get me through til dinner is a protein shake (not necessary but the flavor OMG 😻) using @bowmar_nutrition pumpkin spice protein, with some PB2 and a scoop of #bowmarnutrition collagen peptides!

I really never realized up until one day I looked at that reflection in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person I was looking at. An eating disorder characterized by episodes of secretive excessive eating (binge-eating) followed by inappropriate methods of weight control, such as self-induced vomiting (purging), abuse of laxatives and diuretics, or excessive exercise. The insatiable appetite of bulimia is often interrupted by periods of anorexia. Hi, my name is Erica and I have an eating disorder. I always thought bulimia was characterized by self-induced vomiting. That is not true, there are other ways to purge. For me, my purging was restrictive dieting and excessive exercise, and occasionally use of diuretics and laxatives. My family and friends were worried about me, but I was in denial. I had body dysmorphia, and couldn’t see just how truly small and unhealthy my body was. I developed amenorrhea and bradycardia...not even that got my attention. I started gaining weight and my clothes didn’t fit. My size 2 clothes that I bought when I was incredible small, didn’t fit? DING DING DING!! I sat there and looked at my pictures next to each other, and thought “Holy crap Erica, you looked like a skeleton!” That was the first admission to my problem, I immediately texted my coach...nervous at her response. Was she going to shame me? HECK NO!! She was full of support, prayers, and encouragement! She said “WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!!” 👯‍♀️ I am on a journey!!! Not only for a happy and fit body, but a happy and fit mind!! And y’all, I couldn’t be more excited!! I want to spread my joy and excitement with the world! 1st ever set of hip thrusts done in the home gym, and many more to come 💪🏽😎🍑 - Since I can now commit to 4 days of week training (I was lucky to make it to the gym 1-2 days a week before, and sometimes not at all) I’m revisiting the linear program from @canditotraininghq . The strongest I’ve ever been was while doing his program (free on www.canditotraininghq.com) so I’m working up from light weight and using it to get some of those gains back. Calories will be roughly maintenance for 8 weeks and then will decide where to go from there. - Off to get the kids from school! Transformation Tuesday 💥 Last year’s Christmas party and this year’s. . I never thought it would be possible to love my body more after having a c-section. I DID NOT want a c-section 🙅🏼‍♀️. I did everything from laying upside down on an ironing board to having a Dr. attempt to physically move Silas inside my belly (ouch!) In the end he was perfectly happy being stuck and I went under the knife. 🤷🏼‍♀️ . I was lucky that a lot of my baby weight came off quite easily after having Silas. However, my body was not what it was. I lost definition and strength, the area above my scar was loose and puffed out, and I had a flat butt. These things are all perfectly fine, but for me I felt self conscious about them. I decided to do something about it. . In just a few months, I am now stronger, leaner, & more defined than I ever was pre-baby. 💪🏼 Thank you to my new fitness programs for both kicking my ass and showing me just what my body is capable of. I am so proud of everything it’s done in the last 1.5 years. 🤰🏼💙. . Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your body or your confidence. If you’re willing to put in the work your body will respond. Don’t have the time? ⏱ The newest program released is only 20 minutes/ day. Si hay algo que ya antes de ser mamá amaba con locura y pasión era ir al gimnasio. Los ejercicios y la vida saludable se volvieron parte de mi vida desde el día 1 que pisé el gym. . Cuando me convertí en mamá no cambió la situación pero como todas sabemos tiempo es lo que menos nos sobra. Así que durante mis 3 años de maternidad he podido (en lo posible) organizar mi tiempo como mamá 24/7 he logrado seguir yendo al gimnasio y actualmente hacerlo en casa con mis twins dando vueltas a mi lado o cuando ya se duermen. . Hace unos días hicimos estas lindas fotos (deslicen a la izquierda para ver las imágenes) para @alma.unlimited no saben lo cómodas y lindas que son sus prendas de ropa deportiva y lo mejor de todo nos disimula los rollitos que nos trajeron la maternidad chicas, me encantó hacer ejercicios al aire libre y junto con las lindas @fitmom.blog y @amorx2mamasabe lograr pasar una mañana full actividad física. .
