Yay for Friday! This week has been crazy so I’m definitely ready to get to the weekend. Nothing fancy for today’s workout, just got up, lifted back, and then got in a short treadmill run!
Lately, completing my PT exercises has been taking up a lot of my extra time. I will even try to squeeze some in at work when I can. No one can see me doing my leg extensions under my desk 🤣 It definitely makes me want to stay consistent with doing more “extra” stuff while training for races. Who knew leg raises and bridges could be so important 🤷🏻♀️
Time. A precious commodity in #momlife.
There just never seems to be enough of it to do all the things we need to do, let alone what we want to do!
It can be exhausting. And, if you're like I was, you just stay up late thinking about how nice it is to have a few minutes to yourself in the evening after the kids go to sleep that you don't actually do anything that you want to- just stare at your phone or Netflix or clean. Maybe shower.
Finding a little time for ourselves in the day is super important though.
I found that I can get in 4 20 minute workouts at home each week by utilizing nap times.
It's also amazing what carving out a little time for ourselves can do for the other areas of lives.

I’ve decided to go back to the basics. I’ve had a difficult week, and when I have a hard week I feel like I need to eat something sweet or binge eat. It’s a terrible habit that I’m striving to beat. I’ve found myself going over my carbs this week and overindulging in sweet Keto treats and even some things that are not quite Keto. I’ve binged ALOT this week. So starting today, I’m going back to the basics. Counting macros, and eating Whole Foods. Thanks for all the love and support. 🙌🏻💕 It keeps me going.
🙌 I’m beaming with pride over here 🙌
Today was an extra-tough day in our 6 week home workout program. Usually, the workouts are 20 intense minutes. Today it was 60 minutes. 😱
The reason I’m beaming is because of all the ladies in our group who are making it happen! Moms of 4 who work full time got up early to get it finished, ladies who have given up on themselves over and over are pushing through and conquering, sisters who were in a rut for months have found consistency again. It is INSPIRING!!
Knowing that others are tackling something difficult alongside you makes it so much more doable. And you can’t beat that feeling after it’s done!
Want in on this?? Round 2 is starting up in a few days!
