Amanda had such an incredible jawline, this was natural, her face structure was great so we were working with a beautiful base.
What I noticed was Amanda had the most perfect chin, but unfortunately, the ratios were perfect for a male chin (1 x 1 width of the mouth vs chin)
I could see that amanda had volume loss in the zygomatic eminence thus forming a midcheek grove.
Also there was excess skin around the lateral canthus (near the corners of the eyes)
Before treating the tear trough directly with a blunt tip cannula, I wanted to lay the foundations🛠
We pulled back and volumised her already high cheekbones. We utilised the lift and tack technique to reduce her smile lines (nasolabial folds)
We improved the TT indirectly by rebuilding the lateral and mid cheeks as well as rotating and projecting the Obicularus retaining ligament,
However, we still had to directly treat the medial canthus (corner of 👁 near the nose) area.
We also injected into the NS folds (smile lines) directly using multiple techniques including fanning, linear thread and boluses.
Now for the beautification and sculpting of the chin, this was complexed. We also had to address volume loss around the marionette area (mouth crease)
I wanted to give her heart shaped lips 👄 by focusing on the Cupid’s bow (m shape of lip) and really volumising the upper tubercles.
When I do lips I like to respect the anatomical structure and stay as close to the natural shape as possible.
As my patient had the heart face shape, it was appropriate to exaggerate the lip contours on this occasion, but this is not always appropriate for all face shapes.
