And the Word became life. Outreach Ministries are taking the hope and love of the gospel to the people who need it most. This book is life changing, and our ministries are carrying out the Great Commission daily. Thank you for sharing, @un.deserving Awesome notes captured with so much clarity. Amazing insights communicated by Pastor Brian Houston . Repost @un.deserving with @get_repost #hillsongworship #hillsongwcc #hillsongunited #brianhouston #leadership . WCC DAY 1 – OPENING NIGHT What a night it was! Our senior pastor Brian Houston spoke about the importance of great leadership in determining how the Body worships. If we want to see worship thrive in a church, we need a leader that encourages creativity to thrive, encourages people to use their gifts and encourages people to go as high and as far as they can. They Heart is so much more important than the gifts. — Everyone on a platform is a worship leader. If a leader is stagnant, the church will become stagnant. If a leader is not hungry for deeper intimacy for God, then the health of the church will be affected. If you want to have an intentionally creative and worshipping church, it must start with yourself. There must be a permission culture – where people are encouraged to create and worship. — So what is a worshipping church? (derived from Psalms 34) 1. It’s a church high on capacity – “our lungs expand when we praise”. When your lungs expand, you become more resilient and stronger, leading you to keep moving forward. Ultimately, it will lead to longevity. 2. It’s a church with a clear Jesus focus – “I live and breathe God”. When you inhale His promises and goodness, we exhale all our fears and anxiety. Breath and praise go hand in hand together. 3. It’s a church that ministers deeply to people – “if things are not going well; hear this and be glad”. In any church at any time, there are always people encountering difficulties. Worship connects people to the presence of God. 4. It’s a church that never switches worship off – it does not stop at the end of praise and worship. Worship becomes automatic and a part of life. We don’t have to be in church to worship, worship starts in our souls. We are so expectant for the upcoming days! See you there!

What does Rest and Sabbath and Filling Up look like for you? 🌾 For me it can be a walk in the bush, an uninterrupted cup of tea, snuggles on the sofa with my fam, yummy candles, or curled up with a good book. 🌾 What about you? 📷: @sabrinapeters

I never thought of myself as a ministry kinda girl, but here I am. It’s really consumed me in the best way. I can’t imagine spending my time anywhere other than at church preparing for the next thing, improving the old, finding new ways to teach, creating an atmosphere of love. Growing up I never could understand how my dad continued working at home, why he was always talking about church. I mean, it’s his job, why doesn’t he just leave it there? But I understand now. When you’re involved in ministry, the job never stops. It never ends. It’s a constant. And it’s one of the best kind of constants you can have in your life. God being the absolute best of course. I can never fully explain how thankful I am to have been (and still am) a Pastor’s Kid. Yes, it was hard and still can be, but I would not trade it for a thing. It has brought me into such a wonderful, accepting, and encouraging family of Jesus loving people. I look forward to what God has planned, but I am thriving in what He’s given me already. • • • #preschoolteacher #preschoolcoordinator #churchlife #pastorskid #pklife #ministrylife #kidminlife #kidsministry #kidsministryisthebestministry

Sometimes you just have to P U S H Harder 🤷🏽‍♀️💪🏽. . . I workout in the comforts of my home for only 25-40 minutes max. . . I love the flexibility of even being able to take my workouts to the gym if I’m traveling. . I’m taking my time back. Focusing on me for a hot minute. I feel no ways guilty about it either 🤷🏽‍♀️💃🏽💅🏽.
