Anyone else notice this bs??? I've seen this for years while I type up my clinic notes.
Any mention of "overeating" doesn't get questioned in a word processing situation. Doesn't get underlined. Try it. In Microsoft Word and most word processing apps, the word "overeating" is deemed a real word. A real thing. Not underlined.
Try typing "undereating." It gets underlined like it's not a word, like it doesn't happen. Like it doesn't actually trigger overeating. Like it's not a potentially crazy-making or, worse, deadly scenario. Like my clients who tell me they couldn't possibly be under eating (even @instagram just auto corrected it to two words!!!) because their doctor says they're okay/because they're in a larger body and couldn't possibly need to eat more/because they're in a "normal" body and couldn't possibly need to eat more/etc etc etc. Like it's swept under the rug.
