Yet another incredible @dybrkr experience! 💙 This time back in my hometown of #NYC for International Day of Happiness🙏
This repost by @meliniseri sums it up perfectly: “As the sun rose over NYC this morning, on this International Day of Happiness, I felt so moved that my purpose in this lifetime is to bring love, connection and joy into people’s lives. We create our lives with our thoughts, our actions and the choices we make. We can all choose to create beauty, joy and love together and be the change in this world we seek to experience. @dybrkr is a global movement that lives this change, one party at a time.” #daybreakfer#yogainspiration#yogalife

You're on the right path of taking the steps to free yourself from what you think is holding you back. You're listening to your intuition more, and in doing that you're taking control of things and thinking for yourself. We're starting to detach ourselves from materialistic aspects of life in order to grow into the people we've always wanted to be. It took a lot for us to get to this point, and the reason its happening now is because we are SO fed up with everything around us. Something needed to change, so we're on the journey of doing that. You just need to realise that you had to get to this point for a reason, you had to feel this unfulfilled and stripped of bare necessities to make a change. We're going through huge transformations at the moment and seeing life from a completely new perspective. You're on the right track, so keep following it! • 🖤
Do #animal also practice '"Fjaka"? Or this #pigeon just #strikeapose and trying to kill time.
Fjaka is the lifestyle trend that gives you an excuse to do absolutely nothing. That's right, nothing. Fjaka simply means being entirely relaxed in body and mind and embracing the joy of doin nothing.
Fjaka make sense in Dalmatia, where the turn of phrase was created, because the heat often strips residents of the energy, to do much. When it's that hot to you really don't want to run around and stay busy - so you engage in Fjaka, sittin in the shade (or try to stand on one leg like this pigeon), relaxing and watching the world go by.
Fjaka is not the same thing as laziness or being so exhaused you never leave house. You can do Fjaka with friends, you can do it outside, and it's not supposed to take over your life entirely. You need the most moments of productivity to truly appreciate Fjaka.
Rather than holing up in your bedroom it's worth sitting outside and trying to ground yourself with surroundings, taking in the sounds, smells, and sights around you. If you ever got into mindfulness or #meditation, Fjaka will be an easy feat, as it's a pretty similar state of being. ♡
