Some time well spent on me this last week.
I’ve been struggling emotionally and mentally for the last 8 months and have just tried to keep going, to stay strong, to be there for everyone else.
But, this week I have focused more on myself and my needs (as well as my children’s of course, I’m not going to leave them to their own devices too much!)! Part of that has been enforced on me by a lovely lady I started going to see to talk about what’s going on with me and she set me some goals to work on till I see her again.
She reminded me it’s ok to be hurt, sad, in pain, but it’s also ok to set that aside for a moment and focus on bringing “me” back. The only problem is, I’ve forgotten what being “me” feels like at the moment.
Spending time on my mat and having time to myself has been so important this week and I plan to continue to rediscover who I am in this moment.
