Workout of the Week | Stability
Improving your stability is an important first step when starting a new workout plan. Adding these moves to my weekly routine over the last 1.5 years has allowed me to challenge myself more in strength, agility, and conditioning workouts over time. It also reduces the risk of injuries!!
Complete these exercises with a focus on form and not speed. As you go into the balance position, hold and stabilize before going into the next rep. 30 seconds per exercise on each leg 💪🏾
Single leg squat
Single leg deadlift
Lateral lunge to balance
Squat to balance
Forward lunge to balance
I went to my gynecologist today for an annual check up...actually I hadn’t been since Piper was born and she’s nearly 3! To be honest, I totally forgot to schedule an appointment for myself.
I couldn’t believe it and was convinced they were going to tell me I was sick and had months to live (a little dramatic I know).
Anyway, all is fine but it was good to get a proper breast examination and internal examination to assure me that everything is as it should be.
I’m telling you this because I want to remind you to go and get checked. You are too important to forget about! Your health is your most important asset. Don’t think you are invincible. No one is. Prevention is key!
So go get yourself checked!
