Let’s rewind a little bit⏮
For the LONGEST time I was at a point of not working out because I didn’t know what to do and I got lazy.
I was always an athlete who had a coach telling me exactly what to do. Once I was on my own and no longer part of a team I felt like a dang fool in a gym.
I honestly didn’t have the desire to build my own workouts. IF (and that’s a big if) I went to the gym I’d do the same thing every time. Elliptical or treadmill for a little bit, a couple machines and a few ab workouts.
I had grand ideas of putting together a program — my workout Pinterest board was legit. Buuuutttttt then I’d never workout🤦🏼♀️. On top of that I always preferred to have a buddy with me, so if didn’t have a friend who was able or wanted to go with me I would decided not to.
That was me on repeat for several years.
Now? I’ve stuck to a routine for AN ENTIRE YEAR! Yes you read that right. The girl who was on a roller coaster has officially landed a solid regime. I’ve never done something like this in my entire life. I simply follow along with workouts from my online gym. Where professional trainers put together workout programs and I hardly have to think. I follow along and pick whatever style of workout my heart desires. I can download them and take them everywhere my heart desires too. And I do so almost every single day... because I choose to. Because I want to. Because I am a better person when I move my body.
I ALSO have a accountability community that supports me and everyone else daily! It’s filled with women who pride themselves in stomping their excuses to the ground. Women who encourage strangers on the good and bad days. Women who believe in a healthy life regardless of what they may be facing. Women filled with love.
All of this has evolved into a routine and support system I adore.
