People who smile in your face but laugh, make fun or judge you behind your back are often doing so because they're insecure and/or not where they want to be in their own life - it's truly a reflection of them & not you.
I've also learned those "acquaintances or friends" you may have ... you know, the ones who ALWAYS have jokes and something to say about someone else, please know that the way they talk TO you about other people, is more than likely the same way they talk to other people ABOUT YOU. #truth
✋🏼Stop judging others ... their life, the way they dress or talk, how they parent, what they do with their free time, their relationships, whatever they are doing with their life.
I can GUARANTEE that those who judge need to spend less time worrying about other people & MORE time self-reflecting and working on their own lives.
Life is fucking hard at times, it can get messy but it is the most BEAUTIFUL mess that we each need to own & live to the fullest .... in our own ways.💕
You have no idea about a persons past, what they've been through, what their current situation is like or what kind of things they may be dealing with.
And for the L.O.V.E. 👉🏼 Make sure your life is PERFECT before you take the time to judge someone else & theirs. #micdrop
⚠️🚨RANT ALERT 🚨 ⚠️ So I’m sick of seeing from both guys and girls “they don’t look like that” “girls false advertising with these snapchat filters”, “people won’t know who they’re looking for if they go missing”. Snapchat or any filters for that matter don’t make a person look like someone completely different so if that’s what you think or see maybe you should go to Specsavers. Anyway, for me, I hate my hollow undereyes and uneven, bumpy skin tone. Therefore if it makes me feel better to use a filter on Snapchat then so be it. Everyone needs to stop being so judgemental, what difference does it make to anyone. These photos were taken minutes apart. One has a Snapchat filter, the other doesn’t, personally I prefer the one with the filter, that’s my preference and none of anyone else’s business- allegedly. Although everyone thinks they are entitled to be judgemental of another’s image. I know plenty of people who undergo cosmetic surgery to make themselves feel better, I know others that have done it to try and ‘fit in’ and I know others, like myself that just use a filter every now and then and others that just take a photo. So what, each to there own but for the love of god can everyone stop being so judgemental about it. #justbekind#nojudgement#empoweroneanother#socialmedia#opinionatedpeople#trolls#bekind#bekindtooneanother#filter#filterselfie#girlsbekind#judgeless#insta#instalife#hateless#hatelesslovemore#itsnicetobenice#love#happy#image
So true... people take one look & assume things about you & who you are... YOU know who you are & your close friends & family do too so do what makes you happy & if people judge, let it be... who cares? Walk in someone’s shoes & understand their journey before you judge... none of us know what someone is going through... #liveyourlife#wisewords#judgeless#lovedonthate 💫 ❤️ if you agree
Yes! Wise insight from the gorgeous @karaloewentheil. I have been learning this so much for myself, how my worry or assumptions about what others might be thinking are MY THOUGHTS, not theirs. So, when I’m worried about what someone else is thinking of me, I’m really worrying about what I’m thinking of me. Unless someone has specifically said out loud their thoughts about me, I have no way of knowing their thoughts, AND even if they have, in fact, told me what they’re thinking of me, it’s still *their* thoughts that absolutely do NOT have to be *my* thoughts about myself. Make sense? When you’re worried others are judging you, it’s cause you’re judging you. Next time, you’re worrying about being judged, pay attention to your thoughts, write them down, and notice that these thoughts are purely *your own*, not someone else’s. Ask yourself, what do I want to think of myself? ✨💋
