This little red shed & gorgeous tall pine tree is currently my iPhone background 🌲
I stumbled upon this scene last week while hiking in a park close to where I live. It made me think of the simple and beautiful everyday photos I see in the Pacific Northwest, suddenly transporting my mind across the country. But this was taken on the west coast, it was right here in Ohio. For that, it reminds me of the beauty of home. I love so many places, but Ohio is always going to be home.

Suuuuper happy with how this turned out!! •
I had only filmed a single wedding at the time and when Alan & Nghi gave me the opportunity to capture their big day, I felt excited and very nervous. I still remembered sitting in front of my computer after nearly a whole day of filming with ~250 gigs of footage and the feeling like I hit some sort of creative block. I looked to my inspirations to keep me motivated and reassured. After studying other wedding videos and tutorials, I started to piece my own footage together not based on what happened, but rather the kind of tone and feeling it had. Seeing everything come together bit by bit felt amazing because I was more confident in determining which edits worked and why.
Thank you Alan and Nghi for trusting me with this. I had a lot of fun putting this together and working with you both made it all 10x’s better :) CONGRATS!

Just had the best time hanging out with Alison- one of my brides from last month! We were on a matcha date and I was headed to a networking event afterwards for fellow creatives and I was like, wait- you should come too! This girl is so ambitious and multitalented, she handmade all the decor and custom items for her wedding! She is destined for great things, and I know we will collaborate again in the future!! So lucky that my job connects me with the most awesome people, that I truly consider to be friends!! ⠀
Love this one of her & Jason cracking up after they tried to kiss while riding the carousel- Alison’s horse was going up and Jason's was going down, so it didn't quite work- but it made for the sweetest moment ever!! ⠀

Happy couple and a walk in the best park in town 🍂
I’ve been to Golden Gate Park so many times and still have no idea how to get around due to my being the most directionally challenged person ever 😅 Luckily for Graham and me, Gina was there to save us lol
Bride goals ✨ Jamie is one of the most genuine souls + a literal ray of sunshine. I had the opportunity to photograph her wedding this past weekend. From the tears to the laughs, the giant beetle that landed on her and the burs that got tangled in her dress - she handled her day with beauty and grace. Sooo thankful for this job that allows me to meet the most radiant people!
I could 100% go for a truckload of @jenisicecreams after going from the glorious 50 degree, rainy weather of Portland to this NINETY degree, dry weather of LA. BLEH! 😓 In the meantime, this sweet shot from Rachelle and Andrew’s wedding will have to do the treat... I mean trick. 👫🍦

i was there standing in the exact same spot where i started, and a tear began to roll down the side of my cheek.💛
SIX YEARS. like as in 2,190 days.
i am where i DREAMT i would be. and i never thought i would actually get to where i am today.
and over the course of those years i wanted to quit. i wanted to quit SO many times and i didn’t. i fought so hard to be where i am today, and honestly, most days i forget about my journey.
friend, it’s so so important to practice gratitude and take a look back at where it all began. it puts everything into perspective, and just shows how hard you have worked to be where you are today.
no matter who you see out there killing it? no matter who you see out there in the season of life where you want to be?
THAT exact person had to start somewhere too. and they have been where you are.
the difference? they chose to say “screw it” to fear and chose perseverance. they kept on going even (and especially) when it was hard.
don’t compare, friend. it doesn’t do you or anyone good.
focus on YOUR journey. focus on where YOU want to be. write it down. set goals. and you WILL get there.💛💛
in your own perfect timing.🙌🏽
and then there will be a time when you look back and smile, just thinking about all that you have poured into where you are. and you will be so proud of that.💛
what’s one goal you have for the remainder of the year?? or even for the new year?? i wanna help you get there!!!💛💛😘🥳
Since giving instagram a fresh start, I’ve been going through and re-editing some of my favorite photos. You may have seen this session from me before (it also pops up at the top of google for Grand Teton National Park couples!), but I’ll never stop sharing it. Shooting sessions for other photographers is one of the most awesome, yet incredibly nerve-wracking things out there...but also just the best! This session with Allison and her husband Bryan will definitely stay one of my favorites for a long time!

Pierce leaves for New York tomorrow morning, so I’m being clingy and sitting as close as I can to him and he keeps asking me what’s wrong but it’s really I just want to be close to him. So there’s a little bit of nonsense realness for you all. #sharethesincere
