Just picked up a #fujifilmxh1 for general photography. My daily driver is the #canon1dxmarkii and that camera is just too big to carry around everywhere and everyday.
The #xh1 was introduced a year ago, in feb 2018. Since then #Fujifilm has come out with other better cameras like the #XT3 or even the #xt30. Here is why if you are going to pick up a Fuji camera today, it should be the xh1.
The first is the price, this camera has been discounted heavily since it just launched, and has been officially discontinued. This means you can find used ones for less than $900, and for the features included in it, it's a great value.
The second is IBIS…this is the ONLY fuji camera to offer this, and it is really good. If you care careful, you can get away with not having to carry around a gimbal, and any less piece of gear that I need to carry is better. Since I shoot a lot of photo and video, the in body image stabilization really helps me out during video. I used to have an XT3 and an #X100F, but I really missed the IBIS in the XH1, which is why I returned those camera and picked up one. I can take this camera out in the rain, drop it from 3 feet (I have), and it'll survive. It is a little larger than other fuji cameras, but that also helps make it easier to grip.
And the last is that this camera is just a joy to use. While specs may not be the highest in todays world, the buttons are all in the right place, the grip feels perfect, the image and video quality are exceptional.
So yeah, if you are on the fence about it, please rent one out and see how great it is. .
