If you come within 20 feet of me this week, you’re doing a mat Pilates pose. Or, in the case of my husband an entire classical mat series. “This is a beginner class, right?” Ummm... Sure! (I have to say, I was pretty impressed—he did a great job!). ——- This was a week filled with kids’ school commitments, lots of work, a great friend in crisis, so I just kept breathing and practicing when I could, and moving forward one step at a time. (Or one roll up at a time, I should say.) Feeling ready for the weekend tomorrow. I think... 😆😩😁 @pitbullofpilates looking forward to you making it better! 🙏🏼💕 #matpilates#hundreds#newskills#whosmynextvictim

We are going to the bundling factory. Choo choo choo...” 🚆 Everyone was hard at work in room 13, trying to figure out how many straws we had in our pile. First we had to figure out the fastest way for us to count the straws... is it by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s, 10’s?
This was a great way to introduce place value! We talked about each unit of measurement and how we need 10 of the smaller unit to make the next bigger unit. The largest unit we worked with was a thousand! The students had so much fun working in the “bundling factory” and they got to see a visual representation of what 1, 10, 100 and 1,000 look like!
