✨I’m pretty sure at onetime or another, in our motherhood journey, we have all be in this position! Baby crawling all over us, droll on our shirt, and little fingers tangled in our hair. And it’s moments like this that I wouldn’t have traded for anything in the world! I adore this real life capture of this mama and her babe!✨ Featured photo by @earthlingsmumandmon.

Posting this old selfie because quite frankly I look absolutely nothing like this now (think joggers & hair thrown up in a bun) 🧟♀️ my skin was actually unusually clear for once, so my make up went on nice 🙌🏼 aaaand this filter makes my teeth look as white as Ross’ in that episode of friends and I’m ok with that 😁🤳🏼

The other day I asked for something and my request was squashed. I was taken aback and was slightly annoyed for about 2 min. I decided not to let it me bother me for the remainder of the day, but at the end of the day it came back to the front of my thoughts.
I realized that even if someone tells me “You can’t do that” it’s doesn’t mean I can’t still try! It means I should still try. I need to put myself forward, apply myself, dig deep and do the work. It means I need to use the negativity from that situation and transform it into optimism and fuel my ambition! Just remember you don’t need anyone’s approval, confirmation or support to do something that you believe in.
