Everything but what I should be doing............ A run down home today to leave my car off and get it ready for M.O.T on Saturday. First time it’s had a clean this year. The Mall car wash done a great job.
While waiting I went to Cafe Nero for a coffee, sitting there by myself it’s extremely strange not having Bill with me. It’s the small things that hit home. On a lighter note though I came across a screen shot of him when Stuart got him an I-phone last Christmas ish, so he could keep in touch with me during my time in Uruguay. The amount of times during a FaceTime conversation I had to tell him to take the phone away from his ear was priceless.
Days like today though are made a hell of a lot easier when I’ve had a good gym session under my belt.
That video on the bench press with 7 reps at 102kg was when I really started noticing my weight drop off and my strength go with it.
Into my second week of my 5x5 I feel things going back to where they were and I’m back up to 92kg having dropped back as far as 85kg. Believe me I was eating.
Keep an eye out for big Black Friday savings on my online training.
Big week this week with my new group of players. Looking forward to tomorrow night where we will get some High Speed Running under the belt before a huge game on Sunday.

In our latest blog ‘Common Challenges of An Older Kitchen (And How to Fix Them)’ we detail a few prevalent homeowner struggles. What is at the top of the list? Light! In our PNW climate, light is a big deal - and something we need and crave, especially in our homes. In this 1913 kitchen renovation we added a skylight above the range, increased the window size above the sink, and added recessed and under cabinet lighting. But in this photo, the lights aren’t even on! 🤯 Check out the blog to see other requests we often receive - and examples of how we fix them. [link in bio] 📷: @dibblephoto
