It’s a little crazy how I graduated last October from university. I get messages all the time asking whether I’m going to pursue my law degree, I actually even get messages of people telling me what “a waste” it was.
Firstly, education is never a waste and every single day is a learning day.
If I’m being completely honest, I didn’t know where my life would take me. Four years ago I was certain I wanted to become a lawyer and set out my journey to do so. I didn’t expect to love fitness as much as I do, or to have built the community that we did but I’m beyond grateful for the amazing familia that we are today!
I’ve said this before and ill say it again, if it wasn’t for my law degree I wouldn’t of been able to do the things I’m doing today and it if wasn’t for my consistent fitness routine I wouldn’t of been able to graduate. They both go hand in hand for me.
Law has helped me understand contracts, plan my business, understand the law and my rights. Fitness kept me so sharp throughout uni, it kept me focused and gave me that “escape” from reality I desperately needed.
Studying isn’t easy, exams are stressful and being certain on what you want to be or do in life isn’t always a linear path. HOWEVER, I want you to know that regardless of what you choose to do in life, do it with passion, do it with your entire heart and truly believe in it! It’s okay if you change your path! It’s okay if you have more than one dream! Heck have about 20 if you want but always remember to focus on YOU and DO THIS FOR YOU! Follow your heart and never ever let anyone tell you that you HAVE to stick to something because otherwise it’s “a waste” YOU GOT THIS.
All I am certain of now is that I want to help as many women as possible. I want you all to feel safe here & a positive place where you feel at home and somewhere where you can forget your worries! You’re not doing this alone…. You got me, you got this community and together we will become stronger and stronger.
EXERCISE MYTHS! The very reason not everyone can simply follow generic diets and workout routines is because all of our bodies act and react differently, we all have different body types, daily routines and alot more factors at play. Your diet and workout routine needs to be designed around all of these factors for your to reach your goals and be the best version of yourself.
