I was pretty disappointed when I learned lupines weren’t in season here until October and we wouldn’t see them around Lake Tekapo. I was also just a tad too early to catch them a few months ago in Iceland. But as Greg and I were chasing sunset down the coast of NZ’s North Island, we stumbled (quite literally) into what was possibly the only tiny patch of lupines blooming this early in the New Zealand spring. I’ve never been so excited about flowers in my entire life

Does Public Transportation make you anxious?? Save this one for later, especially if you're new to or uncomfortable with public transportation.
We've all been there. Standing in a metro station (or bus station), staring at a winding map in our hands, on the phone, on the wall, worried if we're going the right way. Well, stop worrying. Use these tips to help you safely navigate any major city even if for the first time!
1) Download @citymapper. Your new best friend. City Mapper tells you the best lines to take, what station to depart from, the best entrances and exits, even how many stops to ride through. I love it. Not every major city is listed, but most of the larger ones are. If not, use @googlemaps, also a great friend!
2) Always know where your best metro stop is. Use the apps I just mentioned above to navigate. And it's best to stay within walking distance to one--no more than 10 minutes. It's easier, much safer. And, consequently, you'll be happier and less prone to panic.
Tune in tomorrow--I'll provide more fresh tips for public transportation that will have you navigating new cities like a PRO!!

Why I travel solo?
Many of my friends and people I know say or think of me as a strong woman.
Maybe I am, I don't know..
I know that I have my down moments and I don't always feel strong.
I put a mask sometimes because I'm not used to be seen weak from others, even from the loved ones...
I travel solo not because I'm strong or because it is easy for me, I do it because I feel afraid and because I know it's something that I would regret for not doing it when I'll be thinking about my life when I'm 70.
If now it's the right time to do it, I will do it with all my worries and fears in my luggage.

These Dwellings are an open-air museum consisting of exact replicas from the Neolithic Stone Age. Located right on Lake Constance, these bad boys are definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the region.
I knew we went far...but back in time was an unexpected detour 😏💕
