It’s crazy to think this part of our body is shoved into an encapsulated mold for most of the day_
Take some time and reevaluate how your feet look and feel. Do they feel tight? Are they sore after a certain shoe? Is the alignment of the big toe starting to shift?_
Answers to these questions can help you find areas to focus on to better help your feet. Whether it’s strengthening the arch, bringing more mobility in the toes, or even just throwing out a pair of shoes that don’t serve your foot_

Sometimes I get super overwhelmed by looking at the big picture or end goal. Fear and overwhelm can be paralysing and prevent us from moving forward. .
💫Some days I just have to fall forward to make progress, yet other days I’ll leap ahead. Either way I keep trying.
💫Just like anyone else it’s hard for me to start something new, for example recently I started Park Run (5km rum) it was scary for me after recovering from my broken ankle, I have high expectations of myself and I assume others have high expectations of how fast I can run, but I knew I was gonna be slow and I knew it was gonna hurt, and it did, but i continue to show up. .
🏃🏽♀️This week it hurt a little bit less and I got that little bit faster so I’m gonna give myself a pat on the back for continuing to try. This also rewires my brain to continue to praise myself for behaviours that are beneficial that will reap good results and rewards. Start by sitting on a chair and placing the tennis ball under your foot, gently apply as much pressure as you can tolerate to push the ball into the floor, rolling the ball back and forth from your toes to your heel. Did you know each foot contains about 250,000 sweat glands? I'm in for a long night.. 😪 Plantar Fasciitis tear flared up under both feet. I can't walk good at all like can barely take a decent step. As an on the go person this sucks for the weekend. I can't find my right support sock for the night so there's goes that. 🙄Looking on the bright side it isn't as bad as the last flare-up but nonetheless still feels like cutting across under both feet with a sharp knife and tearing the muscle bands 😩 morbid mental visual of that actually happening for the night.... Good foot care must be a part of your overall

Keep you & your family members on their feet! Anyone with diabetes should follow these guidelines:
1) Inspect your feet daily. Check for cuts, blisters, redness, swelling or nail problems. Call us to schedule an appointment if you notice any changes
in your foot or ankle.
2) Moisturize your feet. Use a moisturizer to keep dry skin from itching or cracking. But DON’T moisturize between the toes—this can lead to increased moisture and may cause a fungal infection or rubbing between the toes.
3) Keep your feet warm and dry.
4) Have your feet checked in our office at least once a year or more often if poor blood flow to the foot or nerve damage is present.
