blueberry + banana will always be one of my favorite fruit pairings
throw them on top of some overnight oats with nut butter, yogurt, and granola, and you’ll have one hell of a brekkie 👊🏼
overnight oat recipe: in a container mix together 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 mashed banana, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 cup almond milk, pinch sea salt, 1/2 tsp cinnamon
in the morning add your toppings and dig in! i’ve been eating mine cold cuz summer is definitely here ☀️
happy tuesday 😊
is it the weekend yet?? asking for a friend... mostly because I’d love to have this loaded breakfast plate & actually have time in the morning to enjoy it 😂 #dEATS 👉🏻 avocado toast on gluten free bread, strawberries/banana slices, and scrambled eggs with ebtb seasoning 🥑🍞🍓🍌🍳
Since I damn near forgot Father's Day, I scrambled to create a cocktail for my husband. I decided to use one of his favorite flavors and a tequila that's distinguished- like he is.
Have you ever eaten tamarind? To me, it's candy.
Here I'm using sour tamarind juice to create a sweet and sour base for a margarita made with añejo tequila instead of tequila blanco.
Añejo is aged for at least a year, giving it a smoky, woody flavor.
Everything is pulled together with a smoked spiced salt rim.
That one time when you stress bake and happen to make the best (and most m-o-i-s-t) banana bread of your entire existence 😮 .
This past week I let my mind play a few tricks on me which led to a frenzy of emotions and overthinking. Enter STRESS BAKING 🍯 I could have “handled” the emotions before I reached crazy Kelly land but the more I've become in tune with myself, the more I realize sometimes emotions have to play out on their own time...AND THAT'S OKAY! 💯
While there are a million tools and tactics to use, sometimes the best thing we can do is not overthink how we should fix things and just let our emotions hang out.
I mean, they created this Buckwheat Honey Banana Bread... I don't think anyone could argue they were a negative thing! 😋 This recipe has a few more ingredients than my norm (10 total) but each one is worth it! You can grab the full recipe for this gluten-free beauty by clicking the link in my bio.
Now, how you would eat this bread? I topped mine with @miyokoscreamery butter and some more honey but I'm thinking I need to use it to make french toast 🤤
i had the best trip with dan and my fam this weekend ❤️ but got home yesterday evening with very few groceries and nothing prepped, so i threw this dinner together in a few minutes and it was GUUDDD 😋
here’s what to do: sauté onion and bell pepper in avocado oil until onion is transparent and starting to brown. add in chopped spinach and cooked brown rice, and stir. i added some @primalpalate meat and potatoes seasoning because it’s still the only seasoning i have at my new place 🤷🏽♀️
push rice and veggies to the side of the pan and crack a couple eggs into the pan and cook to your liking
serve over rice and veggies! i also added some df everything cream cheese
have a happy day!!!
