I’m hoping this is only a minor setback to my prep and training. Yesterday doing these deadlifts, just before the top of my 2nd rep I feel 3 POPS around my lumbar spine 😳. This is definitely the biggest injury I’ve had but was a stupid mistake of mine but I gotta learn from it. Hopefully be back into full swing in a few weeks but I’m gonna steer clear from any heavy deadlifts and when I do, work my way up slowly and warm up properly . 
Just glad it isn’t as bad as it is 😫

Women are not small men and therefore we need to consider physiological differences between the two when it comes to diet and exercise regimes.
We could write a long loong post on all the differences later (-Let us know in the comments if that is something you would like to see!-) but we try to stick to the point here once again.

In general men tend to experience more positive benefits than women on longer and more regular fasting windows and that makes total sense. Men were designed to hunt and fight and their bodies tend to react to fasting by dropping body fat, leaning out in order to “prepare for a fight and more difficult times”. On the contrary, women are designed to have children and their bodies will fight incredibly hard to preserve necessary body fat for survival and reproduction. Because of this survival mechanism fasting too aggressively can signal starvation to the female body and result not only in holding onto every fat molecule in your body but in a number of health issues. A loss of period is just one (but definitely not the only one) of these.

We hope this short and simple example portrays why it is especially important for women to feed their bodies with the right foods and be mindful when setting their fasting windows, so they are well-nourished and can the most out of intermittent fasting.

We advise everyone to start out with not less than a 10-hour eating window (, which leaves you with a 14-hour fasting window) within a day, 3 to 4 times per week.  Work your way up to longer fasting times per day or add extra days within a week once you are experiencing the benefits and you are comfortable leading this lifestyle.
