Malayalam film industry during the later half of 80’s & beginning of 90’s saw the rise of 2 super stars who still rules the cinema houses, Mohanlal & Mammootty. The movies that had a major role in making them the super stars are few real good action, crime dramas of that time , say a Irupathaam Noottandu or a Rajavinte Makan for Mohanlal & a New Delhi or a CBI series films to Mammootty. Samrajyam would be known as one of those movies which contributed the stardom factor to Mammootty’s career, where he played this stylish Don, who revenge for his loss. There were certain other movies that followed a similar pattern by then, but what really made Samrajyam standout was the presence of Mammootty as this ageing don who stylishly walk around beating up the villains & very classily utter the punch dialogues, and that was something new to the time. The other thing that really stood out was the climax of the movie, which took everyone by surprise then I’m sure. Watch it for the Mammootty & for may be the swag that he carries with him, The movie had a dump sequel few years back sorry for that mention.

I N S P I R A T I O N // This is so true and only found this out about 5 years ago. Everything that happened to me made a mess of me internally. I would let everything affect me horribly inside. But when I realized that I could control how it affected me inside, that's when everything changed.
This doesn't mean things don't affect me like they used to because I still get taken back to those times and the emotions pop back up but now when that happens, I know how to deal with it to change it to affect me in a more price way and not internally.
Why would you watch a movie? For the plot! the actors! the characters! the genre! The making! The sounds! For me it’s the feel of it, what feel does it transcends to me, be it a comedy, tragedy, romance, thriller, or whatever genre, the feel is important (Spoilers ahead, watch the movie if you haven’t yet). The song “Manikya Chirakulla” has two versions in the movie, one to the beginning of the movie , in past when our boys are young & free in their friendship(sung by JobKurian), & the second towards the climax of it when after a long gap they rejoins & visit the exact place where they made there childhood memories. The second time we hear the song it plays in a slower version, and the voice is of a child( sung by @devaduttbijibal ), & slowly we realise not only are they in old memories but they are also making the new ones, just like a child would see things with excitement, these old boys too are in excitement. Slowly realising the same old them now. Such a beautiful scene, this is what this movie is, people say it’s drugs, it’s, nostalgia, and many things, but this is it , the friendship, the bond, the camaraderie, the feel of it. I would wish to have my friends with me, after years just like the way these guys enjoy each other’s company. ♥️ “We’ll be friends till we’re old & senile.. The. Hi its friday... and although I am all smiles and giggles in this video. I was bawling and crying to God literally 30 min ago... I like to hold my emotions in because it was what I was taught since I was little my favorite line growing up "do you want a reason to cry" but God always catches me when I need to release the most... Its 2019 yall it's ok to cry... you're not a cry baby you're a human releasing emotion that doesn't belong in your body! Putting my emotions in motion💗👽 #lovebug#flowarts#crythenflow#emotionsinmotion#hooper#hoopersofinsta#godislove#jesussavedme#noshame#plussize#plur#raver
