Summary:Ease is A poetry book comprising of 200+ poetries. It has poems of different emotions but mostly all of them tell us to deal with the situation with EASE! 🏵
My Take: This was my first poetry book for review. Honestly I was very nervous about this at first but as soon as I started reading them I felt every bit of nervousness to go away. Each and every poem was so simple yet so deep that I was taking my time to absorb and think about it.
I want to quote some of my favorite lines- 🏵"I know it hurts, it worries and it dissapoints, too, but we got this, okay? " 🏵 "I have pain from yesterday, I have worry of tomorrow and here I am, cherishing winter frost in gratitude and in tranquilities of dinner and destiny; " Hello, present! " 🏵" Tonight, walk me down the street as we chase our shadows as we let go of worry loaded tomorrows. " 🏵"Tenderness demands to be acknowledged, to be admired and to be embraced in arms that have always seen fierce " 🏵" I have a thing for peace, the kind that does not belong to me, yet, does not disown me"
I think I am in love with some of the poems and I re-read them several times. If you guys also find them beautiful then go and grab your copy. It won't disappoint you. Poet- Mukhpreet Khurana
Ease, by Mukhpreet Khurana, is a collection of short poems, primarily revolving around the central themes of self-love, faith, hope and introspection. It makes you love yourself a little more and learn a little more about yourself with each page that you turn.
Khurana teaches you to celebrate life with his new anthology. While his previous poetic collection, Unlocked Silences, dealt with life and death, this one teaches you to live life to the fullest. Khurana's unfiltered poems tell you to value life's joys and sorrows equally and to be comfortable in your own skin.
The poems are titled simply, such as Starters, I Hear You, A Dream and Seasons but each one voices so many thoughts that most of us have contained within ourselves. The short writings leave you with big life lessons. With every poem, I dived a little deeper within myself to understand myself better. Simple words coupled with doodles make the book more attractive. I love how the poet's words have the capability to touch my heart every time I read them. A few poems have been written in collaborations and kuddos to Khurana to mention each of them individually. Let us take a moment here to absorb the essence of the beautiful cover also. I just felt one drawback here and that was the repetetiveness that creeped in at times. Other than that, the book is truthful and leaves you very positive. Give it a try and learn to live your life, with Ease!. ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌠

QOTD- How has November been as a reading month?

I came out of winter aka my menstrual cycle waay too quick last weekend. And I kept pushing until finally on Friday I broke ranks with my “doing” and stopped. I did nothing other than the essentials since. I didn’t cook on Friday, I ignored all the emails and took it easy. Yesterday evening I enjoyed a gentle yoga class followed by Kirtan which was so lush. I slept a solid 8 hours sleep so feeling like I am slowly come back to myself.
From tracking my monthly menstrual cycle for years now I know that coming out from my menstrual flow too quick can lead to a looong month of over scheduling myself. And the whole month can be a struggle.
#selfcare is a constant practice. There is no end game. .
I'd forgotten what it really feels like.
I've been living for most of my life in a state of contraction, of alert, of masculine rigidity.
Whenever I was softening up a part of me was going into alert as if I was losing something.
As I work through my resistance and the walls are coming down, the Goddess is showing me the ease and softness I've been craving for, for so long without even realising.
It feels so good to stop fighting myself.
To stop looking for 'flaws' and instead look for authenticity.
To accept and embrace who I am with all my perceived 'wrongs'. To trust, to allow, to see the beauty and perfection in all that I am.
To soften up, to allow grace and ease.
To drop into my heart and FEEL - another part of me I've been avoiding for a long time.
To allow the walls of illusion and separation to crumble as I embrace the perfection of all that I AM - as the physical embodiment AND the Oneness of it ALL.
To realise that we're not that different after all and deep down, we all just crave love and acceptance.
Not recognising that the walls we have built to protect us from pain are the very barriers that keeps us away from fully feeling the Love that We are.
The funny thing is that change of those areas where we desire growth comes so much easier when we let go of the struggle and come from a place of love instead of pushing against it.
The Divine Feminine, the Goddess with you is waiting for you to let go, to surrender.
To soften up and allow her to show you your beauty and magic and the infinite Well of Divine Love within you.
Let go of the fight, of the struggle.
Open your heart!
You are Divine Perfection just as you are - it is just your mind that convinces you otherwise.
You are so Loved, so Precious, so Powerful!
May you remember this in every cell of your being.
Physical aches and pains are a sign of stored energy in your body that most likely needs to be released
Our body tends to store so many past wounds, emotions, and memories along our journey. It is truly beneficial to sit down and connect with self daily through movement, meditation, or other means .
You might be sitting at work, chilling with friends, or traveling and constantly feeling a certain pain for days, months or sadly even years. .
If you feel like you have no connection with your body, and your mind is mentally cluttered and stressed all the time start to bring your awareness to what you are thinking about during the times you are feeling these aches and pains. .
